So Relaxed after a wonderful stay at Casa San Martino

Probably the best view in Lake Como, Casa San Martino has retained its original charm (built in 1700’s )with modern bathroom and feels like home with everything you need to cook and enjoy this spectacular view. Reclining on comfortable loungers on a big piece of lawn, listening to the sounds of the birds and the stream drinking fresh mountain water from a drinking fountain. Memorable. Did I mention the stone wine cellar with a fabulous selection of local wines which you can buy and enjoy 🍷 All in all Fabulous!

Unbelievable views, old authentic casa that is modernized inside with all the right amenities.

This place is absolutely fantastic, if you like getting away from the crowds, up a mountainside, to a small centuries old village with its own duomo and even an outdoor restaurant with amazing views. Probably the best part of the place was the owners, Carlo and Giulia. They were so friendly and just wanted us to have a great time. They (and the place) were authentic, real people and special. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

The only thing I can think of is it would have been great if the lights had dimmers. I will suggest this to Carlo. I am sure he cares enough about peoples experience that he will fix this.

Stunning gem with fantastic views on lake Como

Fantastic host Carlo makes you feel welcome, fireplace on and all the tips you need for day trips. Clean and comfortable, authentic cottage, also in the winter nice! The drive up is curvy but good signposted and the walk from parking to house exciting and special. Absolute stunning place and ditto views.

The place is so charming, very cute. Clean and tidy, and the owner was really kind and helpful, he recommended many places to visit so that our holiday was unforgettable, the view is breathtaking, you really dont have to wonder about stay there, the only thing I have to mention is that the way to this place is very winding but if you will be careful is easy to climb, best regards ♥️🌸

Exceptional

Lovely place with great view to the Como lake. The hosts, Carlo and Giulia welcomed us although we arrived late in the night, helped us with the luggages and even at those late hours took the time for a very polite and friendly intro to the house. Later we got lots of useful tips what to see, and the communication was great through our whole long weekend. We spent lovely three days there and the whole family enjoyed it very much. It is absolutely recommended.

Charme and unique atmosphere, great wine cellar. The house is wonderful, with a spectacular view of the center of the lake. Carlo and Giulia welcomed us at the car park, there are many places to park before arriving at the square where there is the church and the inn where we ate. Walking a short stretch of road from here we arrived at the house, simple but of great charm and well cared for. The house has comfortable beds, the kitchen is well equipped. We spent a stay in an unforgettable place. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend it.

The house as well as surroundings are amazing. Be prepared for winding road to get there but view is definitely worth it. House is fully equipped, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, sum beds, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and special thanks to our hosts for warm welcome and great tips during our stay. Looking forward to meeting you again.

Déjà nostalgique…

L’accueil de Carlo et Giulia a été très chaleureux : on se sent immédiatement bien dans cette merveilleuse maison, à la fois rustique et … luxueuse ! La décoration, les meubles anciens, les commodités modernes, tout est à la perfection. Tout est propre et accueillant. Et puis la splendeur et l’élégante beauté du Lac de Côme, et les promenades alentour. J’ai passé un séjour, trop court, avec mon fils. J’espère pouvoir y revenir un jour. Un immense MERCI!

Combinatie van prachtige omgeving, fraai uitzicht over het como meer, bergweg naartoe, het kleine pad naar de woning en het zeer vriendelijke ontvangst maakte deze woning speciaal.

Geweldig😍

Wat een heerlijk huis was dit. Op echt een prachtige locatie in een heel klein authentiek dorpje met geweldig uitzicht over het meer. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het huis. Hou er wel rekening mee dat de weg naar boven echt een smal bergweggetje is en er boven verder niks is. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.

Voor ons geen probleem maar als je wat slechter te been bent is deze locatie misschien niet zo fijn. Je moet van de parkeerplaats ing 200 m lopen over een heel smal hobbelig weggetje vol stenen naaar het huisje, dus ook met je bagage.
