Giovanni ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft befindet sich unmittelbar am See. Die Sicht - aus jedem Zimmer mit direktem Seeblick - ist atemberaubend und das Haus wirklich sehr sauber. Es ähnelt einem Museum 😊. Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem Hund, welche hier auch super willkommen sind. Giovanni hatte uns auch super Tipps zu lokalen Geschäften und leckeren Restaurants gegeben und ist für alle Fragen jederzeit zugänglich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

The location is superb, you are able to walk into Bellano in 5 minutes, there is very easy access to both the ferry boats & the train station. After a day out and about on the boats in busier neighbouring towns e.g. Varenna, Bellagio, Como etc.. (all very beautiful) it was so lovely to return to Bellano, which is quieter, and to get off the boat and just go 'ahhhhh' peace, serenity, much quieter, of course there are still locals & tourists about, with some very nice places to eat and drink, just without all the queues, hustle, bustle & hordes .........we loved 'coming home' to a welcoming, more peaceful Bellano !!
From the apartment, the views of Lake Como are out of this world, the views from the upstairs bedroom terrace are absolutely beautiful, really stunning with amazing sunsets over the mountains & Lake Como.
We had a fantastic experience being driven to Varenna in Giovanni (the owner's) 1975 VW Cabriolet aka "The Batmobile", this was a real highlight of our stay & the Friday evening BBQ cooked & prepared by Giovanni, who is a wonderful chef & host, the home made Aperol Spritz 'Giovanni style' went down a treat, "Grazie Davvero".
N.B. if you have mobility issues it may be a challenge getting to the front door as their are a fair few steps up from the drive.
Just a little thing really: the Rear Patio Terrace is accessed externally up a series of steps, it is a lovely spot and is a great place for morning tea / coffee / brunch as it gets the mid morning & early afternoon sun, we used the patio but just thought it needed some weeding, tidying up & a bigger furniture box for putting all the cushions in to protect them from those Lake Como rain showers !! It is a fantastic spot.

Nice space, enough room, beds a little bit small, bit doable. The host was very friendly and helpful, I had a problem with a tyre that was slowly deflating and was able to use Giovanni's compressor. We also went for a ride in his convertible vintage VW beetle to Varenna and back. Truly a very attentive host, in the evening he also presented a very tasty 3-course menu accompanied by a home-made limoncello. Absolutely highly recommended! Will return when again in the neighborhood and available!
Pretty steap, a challenge when you forgot something in the room, probably good excercise though

Giovanni was a wonderful host and very attentive to all guests. We appreciated being met on arrival and getting a lift to the station on leaving, we loved the spin in his vintage beetle and his two home-cooked meals were excellent- ottima qualità! The apartment was great and the views from the balcony are wonderful, you will not want to leave.
