Fantastic skiing despite logistics issues - highly recommended apartments.

We liked everything. The location is truly excellent - only a 3-minute walk to the main gondola lift. There are plenty of rental shops, ski stores, schools, and grocery stores nearby, which makes going up the mountain and coming back very convenient. The apartment has everything you need: all the necessary kitchenware, great beds and linens, and it’s very warm. We often came back completely soaked after skiing (the weather was very wet), but all our clothes were dry by morning. There is parking right behind the building (paid, but we knew about it - all parking in Bansko is paid), which was also very convenient: we could leave our skis in the car in the evening and head up together in the morning. We only managed to use the lower gondola-lift a couple of times because it was so overcrowded.

There is no ski room, so you have to leave your skis either on the basement floor (where there isn’t even a bench to change ski-boots) or in a nearby shop. It wasn’t very comfortable to put on stiff sport ski boots while sitting on the stairs. This is not about the apartment, but about the resort. It is extremely crowded - you can get to the lower lift only after waiting in line for a couple of hours (or by joining the queue from 6 a.m.), so we drove up the mountain by car and skied down the excellent 7-km slope (the driver went down by car).

Great location a very short walk from the gondola lift.

The property advertises that parking is available, but it turns out only paid parking is available. The host bordered on unfriendly, likewise the people at the ski locker. We had to figure out for ourselves that there was a key locker for the spare key. The room was on the 4th floor with no lift - not very pleasant after skiing. The room was pretty bare bones and the electrics were a bit dubious. It was hard to find the entrance and the ski locker. Upon checkout there was no information where to leave the key, and it took 15 minutes or so to get someone on the phone to tell me.

The location of this place is fantastic just across the road from the gondola, hosts will help if there is anything you need! Good bars and restaurants nearby too!
