Graysonside

Janette is a very welcoming host and the property is lovely. We really enjoyed staying in the Woodland Apartment which was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. We liked the complementary breakfast goods in the room and particularly enjoyed the delicious Cumbrian cooked breakfast which can be purchased additionally if you let Janette know by 7pm the night before. Safe and secure car parking on site. Lovely countryside views, peaceful and relaxing. Loved hearing the lambs in the neighbouring fields and watching the birds on the feeders at breakfast. Graysonside is a good base for exploring nearby Cockermouth, Keswick and the Western Lakes. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra night. We hope to return.

Just watch the Sat-nav because it sometimes thinks you can turn into the property from the A66, which you can’t. You could try the What 3 Words or use the postcode for Hundith Hill Hotel which is just up the road.

The house was wonderful: modern, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. The attention to detail was outstanding and the view from the master bedroom was amazing. The location is excellent, just a short drive from Buttermere and the surrounding fells, making it ideal for hiking and exploring. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond by waiting for our late arrival and taking the time to show us around the property.

Honestly, nothing. It's a fantastic property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful apartment with all necessary amenities. Attention to detail was evident and we really appreciated the extras - items in fridge and breakfast bits.
