Very nice, had everything you needed

Difficult to park outside but did manage to find a car park a little way down the road which I didn’t know about, a bit of a walk to town

It was really clean, such a nice view of the sea and the bed was so comfortable. it was also close to the sea front and close to a restaurant/bar called ocean beach which was really nice. probably better for heavy sleepers as it’s on the main road so can be loud when loud cars and motorbikes go past.

Spotless

The location and parking were great, the coffee and tea were good, and there was no road noise as we were at the back of the house. The room was well equipped for self-catering with a small hob, microwave, and fridge It was a cheap stay for the location on a Saturday night.

Oddly, there was washing-up liquid and hand sanitizer in the room, but no shower gel. I expected shower gel as a minimum. The noise from the guests in the room above us disturbed our sleep, continuing into the very early hours, walking around the room, moving the chairs, and chatting until at least 4am. This part is not on the owner, but it's clearly a converted house, so the lack of noise insulation between the walls and ceiling meant that we were kept awake by the noise of other guests, and I had my noise-canceling headphones in. I expect we were just unlucky to get one of "those" guests. Had we not had Mr. and Mrs. inconsiderate above us, we would not have been aware of the issues with a converted house. If the other guest hadn't kept us awake, the fridge would have started. We didn't need a fridge, but there was no way to turn it off. The bed wasn't comfortable, with a dip on the side, and it was obvious when lying in the bed
