Excellent place to stay

Casa Della Fornace was an excellent place to stay and Eleonora and her husband were great hosts and very accomodating. The building is very nicely renovated and our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast selection was great with a choice of eggs cooked your way. We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Dining options are limited to local towns a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

Spacious room in a well-renovated old casa.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful. They prepared homey breakfasts and gave us very detailed sightseeing advice. The town is at the midpoint between the mountains and the sea; there are also many charming medieval towns within a 15-minute driving circle. Very convenient to do day-trips. The room is spacious, with a big and fully equipped bathroom and toilet.

Amazing experience

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect — very close to the Palmanova Outlet but still peaceful and quiet. The accommodation was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable. I really appreciated all the thoughtful details that made the place feel like home. Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy from start to finish. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything worked perfectly, and I felt completely relaxed during my stay. I honestly have no complaints at all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone — it’s a solid 10 out of 10!

This place is a gem. For a relatively low price you get a spacious, clean, comfortable room. The hosts are very lovely and helpful people, and the breakfast was really great. Honestly, the best breakfast I ever experienced in an Italian accomodation.

Warm-hearted, family owned business

Good communication with the owners. Easy to find, not far from the highway. Quiet area. Welcoming hosts even with late check-in. We travelled with a baby, and nicely treated with baby cot, high chair, dishes etc. Beautiful, traditional manor with SPACIOUS rooms and bathroom. Really comfortable bed. Large variety for good quality, home made breakfast. Good coffee! Smooth check out. The antique objects and paintings on display gives the place a really nice athmosphere. Good price.

Our stay was too short. Would be nice to explore the area during summer.

Where it's good to be!

We were there years ago, the first time I thought this is the perfect accomodation with wonderful owner and nothing has changed! The room was clean and comfortable, the owners are beautiful couple, the breakfast delicious, we loved the house, the place! I recommend it with all my heart!

Gorgeous surrounding, lovely house, kind hosts

Eleonora and Alessandro are excellent hosts! :) The property is in small village, it is antique renovated house with stylish details, it looks better then in the photos. Room was very clean and pleasant with comfortable beds, specious bathroom with sauna and bathtub with massager. All windows have mosquito nets. Breakfast was fresh made for every guests separately, depending of its taste. We have problem with gluten intolerance and Eleonora brought us gluten free bread and also made delicious rice flour apple cake. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic place with amazing hosts

This is a fantastic restoration of an old buildind and great place to explore the local region or just chill out and read a book. The husband and wife hosts are exceptional and ensured guests are well looked after. The breakfast is generous Guests want for nothing.

Everything was amazing. The owners are super sweet, and gave us recommendations of cool things to do around (we went to Palmanova and Strassoldo as per their suggestions which both were very interesting). Very clean room, great location and breakfast was superb.

The place was amazing but if I had a tiny suggestion, I think the system of soap in individual envelopes should be rethought. It's a lot of plastic going to waste and frankly, you can only get like 70% of the soap from each envelope. It's probably pricey and a bulk soap dispenser like a lot of other places would be cheaper for the owners long term, and easier to use for guests.

Fantastic breakfast and beautiful building complex. The most friendly host I have ever had. Very nice room and adjustable temperature. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was nice. The only thing that could be improved is, some instructions (after booking) about how to check in. And perhaps a sign like "ring the bell here if you are a guest" so that after arrival people know what to do.

Better than a hotel!

Fantastic! It was the second time I stayed here during my business trip (so stopping on the way) and everything was really superb. I arrived later and I was the first who left in the morning - not a problem at all! Breakfast was ready in time which was so nice as usual. Everything is super clean and the owners (a couple) are super nice. There will be 3rd and many more time I hope!

Alessandro and Eleonora are very warm and welcoming, the property is beautiful, the rooms comfy, everything is very clean, and decorated with taste. The breakfast is great as well. It is all very quiet and relaxing, the surrounding countryside is gorgeous. Palmanova is only 15 minutes away by car, where you can find nice restaurants and a couple of museums, and you can walk around the outside of the the fortress. I only have wish I had stayed a couple of days more.

The host was very nice, and congratulation for the nice renovation of a historian building! The breakfast was more than imaginable, and the atmosphere of the place is unique. Location is best for shopping fans and travelling persons. Addicted to the place!
