The property is very convenient for Gare de Lyon station. It is very clean, the room was of a good size and the staff were very helpful.

There was road noise but you have to accept that being in a major city.

Great location a short walk from Gate de Lyon - perfect for our early train the next morning. Lovely staff - very welcoming and accommodating- complimentary water and coffee which was much appreciated in the extreme heat of this summer. Short walk one way to the Seine and you can see Notre Dame and walk the other way to Place de la Bastille. Very comfortable beds. Great bistro opposite (Levant) for a bite to eat and also lots of cafes for breakfast or coffee if wanted. Carrefour on the walk to station for snacks for out long journey to Milan. Definitely seemed like one of the better hotels in the area for the price.

Partly a personal dislike but the wet room nature of the shower meant the floor was wet to use after showering. Something to direct the water down the plug would be helpful. Only a minor inconvenience.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room itself was very clean and well facilitated.

The air conditioning is basically non-existent. We were there in the middle of summer and ‘at full capacity’ the air-con basically had no effect. Fortunately the staff gave us a fan which helped.

Lovely staff and very convenient being just a few minutes walk from the train station I arrived to.

Style over substance and poor value for money. The room was clean and looked nice but had neither a bin nor any way to make a hot drink in it. There was a coffee machine downstairs but it was only available for use from noon until midnight. I got there late after a long day travelling so could not even make myself a cup of tea, and would have loved to stay in bed with a coffee in the morning but that wasn’t possible. If I’d have known it was essentially just a bed I wouldn’t have paid so much and would have gone for a budget hotel instead. The ensuite was a kind of wet room which got very wet when using the shower — the water drained slowly meaning the water spread and soaked the whole floor.
