A no frills hotel, which gives value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful indeed. Rooms are very clean. Fresh towels if required every day. Room beverages for guests could be increased/improved. A mini fridge for would be helpful especially in hot weather. Air conditioning temperature of room was centrally controlled and personally far too hot in recent humid weather. Location was excellent.

I am not sure whether there was something happening in Paris or whether there was just a concerted efforts to make tourists PAY but, all the rooms were over priced. I accidently booked this place for the wrong date, and the would not cancel it without keeping my money, so I ended up staying in Paris a day longer than planned. However, I refused to just let them keep my money. Luckily, I have found this place to be charming. There was some kind of construction going on with the facade so there was full scaffolding erected. The inside was clean and had a kind of dark swanky parisian appeal to it. The bed was on the firmer side but overall, it turned out be nice little hotel.

I arrived pretty late at night, after 10 pm, and left the next day very early in the morning, so I only spent a few hours in the hotel. The room was nice, but it can be noisy during the night because of traffic and police/ambulance sirens. The elevator is a bit small. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location wise, since I had to take a train from Gare de Lyon, it was perfect for me, as it takes less than 5 minutes walking to get there from the hotel (this is the reason I booked it).

Staying for 3 days here, good clean room, good staff, the best things is really near the gare de lyon station! very convenient!
Cons just few amenities in the room (maybe because it's standard room), and the elevator and hallway really small, a bit hard with large luggage
