We had a wonderful stay at Hostel Tommy in Seoul! The location is absolutely perfect, making it very easy to explore the city.
Tommy and the whole staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and truly at home.
A special thank you to Tommy for the lovely surprise gift of Korean snacks for my sons: such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special!

Tommy was a great host ensuring guests were happy and informed. In terms of facilities, he has thought of everything someone on the move could ask for - need to weigh your luggage? Here's a scale. Breakfast was basic but appreciated. The hostel is a couple of minutes walk from charming alleyways full of restaurants and cafes. On top of that, shortly after we arrived he had a tax refund machine installed - fill in a few details, scan your passport and get cash back, i saved 30000₩ on my stay. Highly recommended!

It was our first time in Seoul and the hostel is in a great location to start exploring different areas. I don’t think the walls are soundproofed but it was very quiet at night. It was easy to find and the staff were super friendly! We used the tax refund system and it was very smooth/gives out cash directly.
The double room we booked was very small and the shower/bathroom is a wet room, but it was overall very good value for money and we had a great stay!
