Restaurant's kitchen standard closing time for dinner is very early.

A wonderful experience. The staff were amazing and the dinner superb. Breakfast was plentiful and ready at the time for which you had ordered. Sleeping in a castle turret will be one to remember.

Nothing not to like. But a kettle to make a cup of tea would be a good addition.

We stayed there for four nights. Place is quite interesting and it is interesting experience to stay in a castle. Room was quite ok, we got everything we expected to get. Good service and food.

The room was a bit dark, but not so critical. It was cold a bit, but from other side, it give extra castle feelings.

The castle was an usual place to stay. You need to know that there are only four rooms in the hotel and the rest of it is castle and one that opens to the paying public. We thought we were being left alone overnight but were reassured to know that the staff lived in the castle when they are working. And the staff are fabulous, full of interesting information, very knowledgable not just about the castle and very attentive to our needs. Beds was comfortable enough. If you want food after 6pm you need to go to the village, which was a fruitful adventure and you select breakfast items when you arrive. This is limited, but good quality ingredients and we were well looked after at breakfast.

Bathroom fittings were old and brass and didn’t work very well so showering was not great experience. Needs a bit of updating!
