Jackie and Martin Warmelink 3 day stay.

Exceptionally clean and spacious room. Everything we needed for our stay and more. The extra touches were great- a BBQ pack and excellent gas BBQ , back packs to borrow for trips,lots of beach towels, hats and sun lotion. All very thoughtful . Owner very helpfu with local advicel and staff great. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will recommend to all our friends.

Great location, views of the ocean from our room and idyllic grounds.

We had a ground floor room which can be noisy with others moving around upstairs.

Enjoyed the sunset followed by a peaceful and comfortable nights sleep.

Great location right on the Thames coast road. Seats on the lawn to watch the sunset over the water. Room had a small kitchen with fridge and chairs to sit out on a deck. Very quiet and peaceful night.

Great view but that was only great bit

Lovely view of sea and sunset. Spacious room. Good location to visit the rest of coromandel.

The bed was very bouncy and uncomfortable. Room was stifling hot, even with fans, could do with insect screens to allow windows opening at night without every flying insect coming in. Kitchenette and bathroom very basic, needs updating, laminate loose on worktop. Thames has very few eateries unless you want fast food.

Pretty spot on the harbour, with easy parking and everything needed.

Easy parking. Kitchen was useful, bedroom separate to living area. On the esplanade, large lawned area.

No blinds on high windows - so woken with early light. Out of town so not possible to walk in to the town. Interior fittings quite old

Ok but disappointed

I was a bit disappointed at only being in dark motel room when I booked for a chalet I did say I needed not many steps but he made me walk 15 steps to reception while he watched and I had said I was just coming off a broken ankle some of the chalet had minimal steps with would have done

Very tidy, beautiful views across from the sea. The filleting station too, such an awesome idea to have that at the accommodation. Was very handy for my family.

Really Good, peaceful and relaxing stay

The place is bang opposite to the sea and the view is really superb. The owners are sweet and accommodating. The room was really comfortable and really clean.

The bathroom didn't have a lock. Being close to the nature and lot of spiders were there. Rest all was good.

Location to family we were visiting

It is obviously older and in need of some repair. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable old and huge dip towards the middle. Cabinetry in kitchen and bathroom needs replacing. Can see owner is starting to do repairs so hopefully things will improve.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the room we had booked. We booked the chalet but was put in a 2 room bungalow. The chalet was the main reason why we booked there

Very disappointed, as its in a prime spot on the coast.

Gardens looked well kept. View of the sea.

Front of cupboards needing cleaning.Inside cupboards had a smell. Spider webs in room. The bathroom had a terrible odour. Shower curtain was dirty. Noise from upstairs unit late at night. And banging of large rubbish bins early in the morning next to our unit.

Right on the seafront with lovely view. Availability of accessible unit for disabled. Only minutes to town but seemed like miles out in the country. Great beds & linen.

Just the fact that it is next to the main road north makes it a bit noisy. No offer of late check-out. Notice on wall saying a charge of $25 for each 15 minutes after 10am.
