The room was great, lots of space and well thought out, the location was ideal for our needs, and parking was easy 50m across the road and underground.
Reception staff were not ideally professional. Building internal upgrade works were being carried out next to our room so the corridor smelt of paint. The bar area, breakfast area and restaurant seemed very sterile and unwelcoming so we ate out both nights

Lovely property in an old court house but rooms renovated to a modern style.

The hotel is in a convenient safe location with ample parking nearby. It’s a grand old building, but was undergoing renovations when we visited, so there was scaffolding and workmen around. It should be lovely when finished.
The air conditioning was poor- we were unable to turn it down enough for a comfortable sleep. We had the engineers out to it, and they improved it but not nearly enough. 23 degrees was the minimum you could expect. The apology in the form of a plate of macarons was a nice touch, but didn’t make up for a poor nights sleep unfortunately.
