Riad Anata

We loved that it was on the outskirts of the Medina, quiet, and easy to find. You can easily walk to the Blue Gate without a guide. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was gracious and accommodating to give us our breakfast earlier each day to accommodate our schedules. There was even black soap in our bathroom. Rooftop was lovely and since we were the only ones there it felt comfortable.

Nothing that I can think of.

The riad is in a central location that is relatively quiet and 10mins by foot from the medina, so super convenient. The White room we had is modern, clean, and has a big shower with great water pressure, something we really needed after 2 nights in the desert. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was great too and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We did a cooking class one of the days with Samira and would highly recommend it!

The riad can be slightly tricky to locate the first time as the parking lot and school referenced in the directions provided were not on GoogleMaps but once you know it, it's easy to get to. Our room was on the ground floor so it was a little noisy as we could hear everyone checking in/out but this was not a major issue for us.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful riad. The food was simply amazing 🤩 What made it even more amazing was the staff. From the cleaning ladies to the cook — everyone was wonderful! Thank you, Samira, for the warm welcome and hospitality. Thanks as well to Simo and Idriss for all the assistance and advices. We will definitely come back! Shukran ❤️
