Great stay right on the beach front

We booked for one night and then stayed for two! We were walking a section of the E4 starting in Paleochora and we enjoyed a couple of nights here before starting. We had a room at rear with a great view over the town to the mountains, and with the afternoon and evening sun on the balcony. The room was fairly basic but that suits us and with breakfast included it was great value for money. I think the breakfast might be the same each morning, but it was good and plentiful.

Great hotel that serves breakfast on the seafront.

Our third time of staying at the Scorpios. A family run hotel in a great location on the seafront, great breakfast served by Nikos, assisted by his Dad Georgios and the family. Clean and comfortable room, cleaned daily. Sheets and towels changed twice during our weeks stay. Quiet at night. 2 minute walk into town along the seafront. Very handy for Halikia beach (just along the road) and a 15 minute walk through the town to the Sandy beach.

Breakfast was exactly the same every day (but was plentiful and very nice) Maybe a little variation would be good.

Clean and basic, good location.

We had room 7, with balcony overlooking streets and mountains. It was too hot to sit there but great for drying clothes. Our room was simple and clean. Plenty electric outlets. Breakfast was adequate with fresh squeezed orange juice. Location is great, near beaches and restaurants. Parking near church 50 meters away.

Airco not as powerful as we like. Just warning about parking. We parked at church and car got scratched by clumsy driver.

Very good location, right next to the sea, inside the city of Paleochora, but not noisy, and close to the beach. The room is clean and well equipped, nice view from the terrace to the sea. The staff is very kind and helpful. We have enjoyed our stay here very much. Very good price/value ratio!!!

The parking is difficult, thus the road before the apartment is closed at nights, so You have to move your car if you have parked here. The breakfast is a bit simple and the same every day. But these are only minor problems, despite of them, very good price/value ratio!!!

Reasonable cheap hotel but cash only

Breakfast was good and room was great value.

Balcony doors let in a lot of noise from the road. I was shocked that they refused to accept card payment and is cash only. They said it was on the website - on rechecking it is on the booking.com site but only in the small print.

A Lovely Break in a Good Hotel Hotel in an excellent location with breathtaking panoramic sea views and in a few steps to the beach, numerous tavernas and cafes. Lovely lounge area with a bar. Cozy clean room with effective air con and comfortable beds and pillows. Face and bath towels provided. Basic things like fridge, hair-drier, flat TV all supplied. Quiet but still close to everything. Breakfast is tasty and fresh. The stuff is friendly and polite. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

The payment is cash was not made clear this would have been helpful to know. The breakfast was not very good. The shower in our room had no wall attachment so needed to be held the entire time this made it difficult to use.

Comfort and peace with a magnificent view!

The breakfast was good, nice selection of food. Fruit would have been a welcome addition. My husband did not eat meat or eggs so he would have been happy not to receive those, but he had enough to eat with the remainder . The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have slept on in our time on Crete. The room was quiet and the curtains blocked the morning sun from waking us too early

Bathroom was a bit cramped. Could not reach the sink without closing the door.

The rooms are quiet, clean, and within walking distance to every place in Paleochora. Enjoy a breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice as you stare out into the Libyan Sea. Restaurants line the block, so it's always easy to find something to eat or drink.

Superb

Quiet, clean, comfortable room with airconditioning, an own fridge and a balcony . Close to the beach, own bar downstairs. 3 minutes by walk from the central bus station and city center. The owners and the staff are very nice, and friendly people. They serve regional beer in the bar.

A shower curtain or cabin would be nicer, and a bigger waste bin in the room.

Great holidays with the perfect accommodation

The hosts and the staff were super friendly, the room was very clean and excellent for our 10 days stay. The cozy balcony and the great breakfast made the accommodation perfect. We highly recommend the room and would always come back for our next holidays in Palaiochora.
