We stayed here with my mom for one night during our trip through southern Crete, and we were pleasantly surprised. Honestly, after seeing the photos, we didn’t have many expectations, but the reality was much better.
The room was spotless—freshly whitewashed walls, everything clean and tidy, including the bathroom, which was well-kept and pleasant to use. Even though the room was small, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed: dishes, kitchen utensils, fridge, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, all working perfectly.
The surroundings were beautiful—stepping outside, you are immediately among olive trees, with a lovely and peaceful view. The location is also very convenient: just 10 minutes’ walk to the center, yet still quiet and calm at night.
The hostess was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with tips. It was also just nice meeting her and feeling her warm hospitality. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast on our balcony with our own food, and it was such a peaceful way to start the day.
Overall, we really enjoyed both the stay and Paleochora itself. It was a wonderful experience.
