Luxurious Apartments Maslina with Beach

Great apartments - we took two: one for us and the other for our three teenage girls. Both apartments were spacious and well equipped, extremely clean, and well located. We paid extra for the sea views which was totally worth it - watching the sun go down each evening with a glass of wine on one of the balconies was a highlight. The pool is great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Milna itself is gorgeous - tiny and car-free, with a good range of restaurants (although most do the same food). The beach is perfect and a stone's throw from the apartment. The water is crystal clear as in most of Croatia, and there are diving spots further along the lane from the beach. Milna is very quiet though - it's hard to get a drink without a meal past 10pm and there are no late night bars. You need to go to Hvar town for that and a taxi costs €20. There is a bus but it's very sporadic. We loved Hotel Fortuna for friendly staff, and recommended the restaurant around the bay called Mala Milna - amazing food and lovely people, it's been running for 30 years in the same family! We also did a couple of speedboat trips for Hvar town which were fun and a good way to see the islands nearby. All in all a very chilled, safe and peaceful holiday, with some nightlife for the teenagers in nearby Hvar town - and the apartments were perfect.

We liked the church bells next door, it felt super authentic to hear them everyday, but bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper (although they don't start until 6am). As many reviewers have said, the pool is up a flight of steps behind the apartment - not a problem for us but may be for some. Our double bed needed a mattress topper - not the most comfortable. Finally Hvar is not a cheap option. We live in London and prices were often higher than we're used to there. Going into Hvar town from Milna is a €40 round trip by taxi, so Milna is not a cheap location if you want night life.

The property is on an excellent location - approx. 100m from the main beach in Milna and just 5min walk from the Mala Milna beach. It was clean and it contained everything we needed to prepare the food. And above all the host - they were amazing!

Čisté, dobre vybavená kuchyňa, kúpeľňa, klimatizácia v každej izbe aj v kuchyni. Priestranná terasa na sedenie so sušiakom. Krásny výhľad na more, skaly. Minútu od pláže. Strávili sme tu 5 nocí a v strede pobytu nám doniesli čisté uteráky. Pláž Milna je krásna, čistá, bez masového turizmu. Komunikácia s majiteľom prebehla bez problémov. Pri príchode nás čakali, všetko nám pekne ukázali.

Nenašli sme nič

Super nice appartement, looks new and trendy. Very spacious and clean. The host, Katrina, is very nice and welcoming and can give tips about shops and bus stops etc. There is a possibility for free parking which is also great. Location is in a small town with a few restaurants and a small beach but only 4 minutes driving away from Hvar.

Next to the apartment there is a church who starts ringing bells every half hour from 6 in the morning till 12 in the evening, so good night sleep is not possible. Furthermore apartments are not sound proof so you hear neighbors. Also we went in September and the one bakery in the village is closed so you can only go to a small truck with some food available. There is no other supermarket or anything available.
