I so love this classic Balinese Hotel. In a beautiful quiet area, overlooking the forest with beautiful traditional gardens, clean pool. Basic facilities, no TV, just peace and serenity. Staff are friendly and helpful. I treated myself to a massage and flower bath overlooking the forest. What a delight. Easy walk to local area for dining out or getting groceries to snack on. Big comfy bed and clean room and bedding. I had an upstairs room and was blessed to see the view of Mt Agung at sunrise one morning from my balcony, with the sounds of birds and of course the neighbourhood rooster, letting us know the sun was rising.
For me I loved my stay here but I am sure some people would struggle with the time it takes the hot water to find its way to the shower head. Bathroom has the usual damp drain smell but tolerable. It certainly is not a clinical sterile environment like the newer European style hotels which have no character.
