Excellent hotel at Saumur station

Excellent Ibis Styles hotel. Room larger than expected. Excellent breakfast, it even included DIY fresh orange juice. Very helpful English speaking reception staff. Helped me when my departure train was cancelled and the station ticket office was closed. Location across the road from the station was perfect. Just a short walk across the river to the old town and chateau.

A good option in Quimper

Good location right opposite the train and bus station. Breakfast was fine .... nothing spectacular but good. Parking lot opposite the hotel is fine, but a bit pricey. The hotel does however offer a parking option (at cost) but definitely worthwhile if you're staying for a few days. The room was small but comfy. Don't expect a view .... and you won't be disappointed. The hotel is actually a few separate buildings round a small courtyard, meaning you may have to leave the building to get to the reception and/or the breakfast room. Not an issue unless it's pouring rain.

Check-in is at 3pm. We arrived an hour early intending to leave the luggage there and have a stroll around. Unfortunately they forgot to tell us that the front door to the reception is closed and there's no one there until 3pm on the dot! In retrospect we should have communicated with them in advance to tell them we'd arrive early.

Good basic comforts for a short stay - room clean and adequate with privacy and quiet. Nice breakfast provides relaxing start to the day. Convenient location close to the station and a short walk into Quimper centre. Pleasant staff - seems to be a family owned and run place. Value for money. .

No real complaints - on one busy Saturday morning the young woman serving breakfast seemed flustered, disorganised, and overrun. The service was not up to usual standard - could have done with some help or better pre-planning.

Liked the proximity to the centre of Quimper, level 10 minute walk. Hotel very quiet (although we do take ear plugs wherever we go)!

Only downside - although parking is available it’s VERY tight.

Very friendly .staff. Gave us the room early. The location was excellent across the train station. The room was of good size, very clean and so was the bathroom. I consider it a good value for the money.

This little gem is definitely worth the stay!

A small inconspicuous hotel opposite Quimper train station. Wow, what a gem, with friendly helpful staff, well-proportioned rooms, and an excellent breakfast. With the bus terminal and train station directly opposite, as well as a free shuttle into Quimper city centre, it is ideally placed if you don’t have a car.

the room was very clean and the staff very helpful. Although there were road works going on in front of the hotel, the rooms we had were around the back and were very quiet. if you are traveling by car, you need to book parking as they only have 8 spaces, which we had done.

The location is great, a short walk into the town center, even though it was on a main road and right opposite the station the room was very quiet. Parking is at the back where the rooms are. The room was fairly large, the bathroom was good. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with a good choice.

We found the bed too hard and there was no decaf coffee.
