I’m sharing this feedback with the hope that it helps the hotel improve. It is not intended as a personal criticism of the staff. During the same week in Seremban, I stayed at two hotels. Naturally, I couldn’t help comparing them, and the three-star hotel was in better condition than this four-star property. I stayed in Room 809 and was unfortunately greeted by a cockroach upon arrival. I considered requesting a room change, but I arrived late at night and was exhausted from a long drive and insufficient sleep. Although the bed was spacious, the pillows had an unpleasant smell and felt flat, with very little cushioning. They seemed worn and in need of replacement. The glass shower door also appeared poorly cleaned, with visible soap residue and watermarks. The towels looked greyish rather than white, and the air conditioning was noisy and did not cool the room sufficiently. For a four-star hotel, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness, comfort and maintenance. These aspects made the stay disappointing. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, the 24-hour kiosk was convenient, and breakfast offered a good variety of food. Most of the food was fine, although the custard sauce served with the bread pudding could use improvement. As someone who enjoys bread pudding, I found it rather bland. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, particularly regarding room cleanliness, bedding and air-conditioning maintenance. The friendly service and useful facilities are appreciated, and improving the rooms would make a real difference to the overall guest experience.
