    Balcony rooms were small but good view, and the executive rooms were really spacious but some have no view. The staff is v friendly

    We were travelling for three weeks and decided to shout ourselves to a stay at a nice hotel for our three nights in Paris. We booked this twin because the description specifically stated "with balcony". Unfortunately, that was not the case. We made a request for a high room away from a lift and indeed got that - as the room description stated it had a balcony (not "some") we didn't specify that in a request. When we got to the room, we were in a room no bigger than an attic with barely enough room to move with our suitcases laid down and a small angled window we couldn't see out of let alone walk out onto a balcony. When opening the door, it hit the wardrobe placed directly in it's path (a sure sign of a small room). The beds were split, however were so close they touched - not much point in splitting at all. With one of us sick, we wanted some separation so moved the bedside tables so we could pull the beds apart. The bathroom was small but functional. A very high bathtub and shower combo made it quite awkward. High tubs are great if you have the room. A shower only would have sufficed in this room especially given the size. Overall, our interactions with staff were lovely - we got directions, extra pillows and info on our reservation and everyone we dealt with was great. The hotel itself is modern and has a great vibe about it - we didn't have occasion to use the bar/breakfast room but it looked like a beautiful space. Cannot fault housekeeping - the room and public area were very well kept. I'd love to stay here again and travelling by myself, I probably would. However, if travelling together in a group, prepare to get very, very cosy.
