Wonderful

Excellent location. Less than 15 minutes from ferry terminal. Easy to find. Very good parking. First class welcome. Very comfortable. Able to walk into the centre of town. St Pol is very pleasant. Wonderful breakfast. We were really glad to stay in the Hotel de France.

A lovely well run small hotel near the centre of nice small town near Roscoff

Excellent position as only a short walk to the centre of a lovely small buzzy town. Welcomed at the gate by the owner who showed us into our parking space off the late ferry. Very comfortable well equipped bedroom and first rate breakfast. Just wished we had discovered it years ago as will now use each time we come to Roscoff.

Always know what to expect nd it is always excellent

The Hotel de France is a superbly run hotel. The parking is good and the owners so very helpful. It is ideally situated for bars restaurants and shops. And for the Ferry in Roscoff. We will be returning.

Very convenient for catching the ferry, and the town is a bit of a gem

Arrived early but staff were very helpful and welcoming, language was not a problem.

The Tv channels are a bit limited for English speakers

Comfortable, well run hotel in a beautiful historic town

Great hotel close to the town centre. We were greeted at the entrance, very efficient and friendly. The room was quite small, but had a sea view and the hotel had a lot of seating in the garden and indoors. Very good value stay, excellent base for visiting north west brittany, or a stopover before/after taking the ferry from Roscoff. I wish we could have stayed longer

Not a bad place but no warmth . Not coming back as motorcycles definitely not welcome.

It was clean .

I certainly didnt get a genuinely happy welcome. Felt I’d upset the man . Even said ‘let’s start again!’ . Still not sure what the issue was . He then proceeded to charge me 8 euro for parking a motorcycle. Never has anyone I’ve ever met been charged for a bike! Disgraceful

Lovely little oasis of calm

Everything was great: easy, friendly check-in, comfortable room, lovely gardens, good buffet breakfast… there was nothing we would have changed. We reserved a parking space for peace of mind, though there were spaces available on the road outside. After 5 weeks of travelling and camping, this was the perfect end to our holiday. We had a drink at the hotel bar before heading out for dinner. The creperie Ty Breizh was just 2 minutes away and we got a table, no problem. We usually stay in Roscoff when we take the ferry, but decided on a change of scene - so pleased we did 🙂

Lovely and conveniently placed little hotel 👍

Breakfast was particularly good, having it in the sun in the garden was a bonus! Room was comfortable and simply furnished. Communal areas were well thought out and furnished. Loved the hand-written guide in each room. Great location away from Roscoff but close enough after late night arrival.

Simply a great hotel!

Great location in the centre of town, and a 20 minute walk/5 minute car drive from the nearby small beach with parking spot and several restaurants/place to drink. The hotel looks fresh and revently renovated. The room was very clean an nicely renovated according to modern standards. The family room is very cosy, with a door in between the two spaces. The garden is really welcoming and we enjoyed our perfect morning breakfast in the sun. The hotel team was very friendly and service minded, we felt super welcome!

This is a little gem of a hotel situated in a great location for exploring not only the lovely town but Brittany it self. Immaculately looked after and run by its owner. Jerome. Fantastic breakfasts and a beautiful garden, and above all the staff who were always there to be of service.

A good location, but …..

The room was clean and the linen was good.

We weren’t told about car parking fees and they were expensive. I had to wait a long while to get a beer and the garden furniture wasn’t very comfortable.

A superb find!

A superb find. It was a pity we couldn't stay longer. Staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and it was situated in a lovely town with excellent restaurants. Breakfast was great and staff were willing to accommodate us at an earlier time to fit in with our ferry times. We'll be back!

Jerome was a superb host. He was diligent, attentive and very interesting to talk to. He made a lovely breakfast early for us, as we were rushing to get the ferry. A great hotel in a wonderful location.

A great place to stay near the ferry port whilst avoiding the crowds. Good value and friendly staff

Reserved parking had good sized spaces. A reasonable choice of restaurants, creperies and bars within walking distance A pleasant private garden with seats to relax in Rooms with a garden view can also see the coast, which is a 5 minute drive away The ferry terminal is less than 15 min drive, and a buffet breakfast as available from 07:00

like many old buildings there is a tendency for floor boards to creak

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel . Just as nice as the last time. Excellent location for exploring Saint pol de Leon , and really lovely staff . The rooms have all you need the beds are so comfy and the breakfast is extra but was delicious. Thank you

As previously we enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel is well situated for the Plymouth Roscoff ferry. The hosts were most helpful and charming. Unfortunately we weren’t able to park our car at the hotel, but that was due to us.

I would have appreciated a wider range of fresh fruit for breakfast.

Perfect stay in charming hotel with fabulous host

We loved the location and rooms. The hotel was clean and spacious (by euro standards) and our family suite had a very large bathroom. Our hosts were friendly l,attentive and caring, making sure we always had what we needed and guided us through parking in the busy parking lot. His efforts to ensure we were happy were much appreciated- along with generous pours of wine at the adorable bar area! Our weather did not cooperate to air and enjoy the garden area but it looked quite nice.
