    Stayed before a tour so we'd be in the same hotel. Seemed too expensive. Very clean. Great breakfast. Terrible pillows

    This hotel is old. It needs to revamp its operating procedures and desperately needs a major renovation. We stayed for 5 nights in a suite, room 336. Our 2 college children stayed in a regular room 321 down the hallway. Twice I have to call reception to deliver fresh towels because housekeeping forgot to replace the towels and also the coffee pods for the coffee machines. Three times our wines glasses were left unwashed. I must say Una Deco housekeeping is terrible! These have NEVER happened to me in any hotel I have stayed in the world and let alone staying in a suite! The electric socket near the study table does not work. I have to move the study table nearer to the door where there is an electrical socket that worked to use my laptop. That also entails moving the sofa chair opposite the living room. The elevator does not have security protection whereby one needs a card to access the floors. Anyone can walk in and press the elevation button to go up. Even though the hotel has a security guard patrolling outside and sometimes another one in the lobby, one can easily access the hotel floors. Just imagine, if the hotel needs to employ a security guard outside 24/7, but does not improve the elevator security to prevent an intruder from going up to the rooms! It makes no sense to me. During my 5 nights stay, one elevator was broken. So only one was working. The shower is in a high bath tub. The shower soap is very slippery. So when showering, getting in and out of the shower is a hazard and one has to be very careful not to slip and fall. I asked for a shower safety mat but the hotel does not have. A shower safety mat costs less the 10 euros! The good features of the hotel is it is just 2 blocks from Termini station, has strong shower and cold air-con. But the wifi is very slow and one cannot depend on it to do work.
