Hotel Fontana

The location was very good and you could walk to a lot of iconic landmarks from the hotel. The breakfast staff were always pleasant and attentive.

The bathrooms could use a makeover as could the floors both a bit worn and tired looking. We had an issue with incorrect beds but they did solve the problem the next day.

The view was astonishing! The hotel itself was homely and picturesque.

Could hear the people in the next room.

We loved the view, we paid extra for the Trevi Fountain view and it was more than worth it! The bed was big and very comfortable.

We were a little bit disappointed by the bathroom. It was absolutely tiny and i understand that I’m paying for the view in a hotel like this (which again was completely worth it!) but the bathroom was a bit of a let down. Handheld shower which is okay no problem if it was a bit bath but it was also a tiny bath so you had to stand awkwardly. The bathroom was also so small that after getting out of the shower/bath you could not open the door if the bath mat with down. My partner got her finger trapped between the door and the sink as there was literally the tiniest gap between the door and the sink. That is completely her fault though and was funny at the time, just an example. Super sorry for the ramble, we had no other obvious issues or anything that I can think of!!
