Location is brilliant in the Altstadt overlooking the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an exceptional restaurant serving traditional German fare.

Fabulous location- easy access to the station and centre! Welcoming and friendly staff. Our room overlooked the Rhine and was clean and comfortable. The food was very good and there was a great selection.

Hotel was in such a fantastic location, really central with a beautiful view over the river. The Restaurant was really special. The room initially looked cute, clean & well presented. I was on the top level so up a few flights of stairs - which were not bad at all with just a backpack- but it wouldn't suit anyone with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Bathroom was quite nice - but tiny (suited me well as I'm short, but wouldn't fit anyone tall in there). All the staff I talked to were very friendly.

It was a bit noisey until around midnight - music + people, but nothing unexpected given the busy area it is in. Unfortunately during the night I was visited by a family of pretty decent sized spiders - there was no sign of them earlier - no obvious cobwebs or anything in the room, but I got up to go to the loo and there they all were, hanging from the ceilings & the drapes, I killed 7 & some more got away from me = 0 sleep for the rest of the night. I checked out in the morning (a day early) as I couldn't deal with that for another night, I was offered another room but at that point I was not convinced they didn't crawl out've the air ventilation system or something - no compensation has been made, I was told the weather brings them out - which I get, especially with old buildings- but it needs to be managed with some fumigating/insect treatment.
