Clean, well appointed, great location. Quiet, easy to access. Smooth self check-in.

Relatively minor things. Main door to the suite doesn’t open all the way, due to bathroom right behind it. A bigger person or someone with large luggage might have a hard time getting through. It was hot and humid while we were there, although it would cool down nicely at night. We were never actually hot, but were literally dripping sweat at night due to humidity (to be fair, this is obviously not the property’s fault), but being ground floor we did not want to open windows. A dehumidifier would have gone a long way towards comfort.

Sweet apartment, great host, fabulous Town

The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. You walk into a for hundred year old building that is every old world tourists dream, and splash down in a cozy studio apartment with everything a modern tourist needs to get ready to explore. It was in the heart of the old town, which was perfect. I parked my car with the neighbor and didn't move it until I left. Definitely check out the roof terrace and if you haven't planned as much as you should, the just knows the touring options and can tell you which routes suit your needs.

So the parking with the neighbor was great, and I'm so glad it was there, but fair warning, the road to access it is very narrow, and once you are on it you are COMMITTED. If you don't have experience navigating tiny European streets or are driving a minivan, maybe use the city parking and walk to the apartment

It was great - we loved the place and Rudesheim!

It was great - the host met us and let us in - explained everything that wee needed to know. it was very centrally located - easy to get around they even had made the sofa bed for us!

Actually nothing - it was all perfect! Maybe they could have provided toiletries - they may have mentioned it and i did not read it - but we had not brought our own soap and shampoo as we thought it would be provided but other than that - no issues at all ... it is a very very minor thing. There was a supermarket close by and we bought some.

Exceptional

This was a perfect sized room for the pair of us to be comfortable in. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The facilities were perfect for us travelling on a motorbike, secure parking and washing machine and dryer in the building. The location of this place is perfect, being just a few minutes from the Drosselgasse. As an added bonus the building has a rooftop terrace for some evening wine drinking with a good view across to the other side of the Rhine.

Exceptional stay

It was exceptional in every way. The room was gorgeous, the beds beyond comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and great to have access to a washing machine and dryer. The location was a close walk from everything but quiet with little outside noise. The host was so lovely and warm. Exceeded our expectations and highly recommend.

Lovely old hotel in perfect surroundings and location.

The location was perfect. We met with Aram and he showed us around and provided laundry tabs so we could use the washing machine. Lovely old complex.

Excellent apartment

Central location with secure off road parking. Beautifully renovated apartment, modern inside a 1600's building. Lots of nice touches shows thought has been given to the design. For example lots of plug points, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, lots of hooks for hanging coats, hooks in the bathroom and places to store toiletries, automatic light as you enter the apartment. Very comfortable bed and bedroom in a quiet location means an excellent night's sleep. Access to a shared roof terrace. And very warm welcome from Aram.

We would recommend Fewo zum Malerwinkel as a great place to stay in Rudesheim

The place had a wonderful historic vibe and private parking that was perfect for our large van. The host responded promptly when we got there. Best of all for us was the free washer and dryer. Only place we stayed on our 2 week trip that offered that.

The extra bed for one of our party staying in a triple room was not comfortable. The alley the hotel is on is extremely narrow and it would be good for people renting larger vehicles to know this beforehand.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Rüdesheim!

We absolutely loved staying in the apartment with a terrace and view of Rüdesheim. The host was super friendly and even picked us up from the station and allowe us to store our bags after checkout. We also followed all of his tips for things to do in town and weren’t disappointed! The apartment has the perfect location in the heart of Rüdesheim and is so convenient for a weekend stay. We’ll be back!

Really nothing to criticise. Only thing to add would be milk for the coffee and maybe shampoo/bodywash in the bathroom. Otherwise perfect!

A Gem of a find. Highly recommended

Aram the host gave us the warmest of welcomes and couldn't do any more to help. The location of the property is outstanding and the roof terrace was the icing on the cake. Knowing that this gem of a property is just a 90 minute flight away makes us really happy. We will be returning.

What a great stay!

We had a great time at Fewo Zum Malerwinkel! First of all, the host was impeccable, gave us great advices on the area and made the check-in and check-our very easy for us. Secondly, the room is very cute and clean, the size was really perfect. The kitchen was very equipped, and didn’t miss anything. The location is amazing as it is very central and you can reach many attractions easily just by walking. Finally, I would highly recommend this structure to anyone who is visiting the area :)

Very cute and comfortable little apartment in the perfect location. The host was very friendly and respectful. The place was incredibly clean (which, with a crawling baby, clean floors are so important).

The curtains didn't block the light that well, which made naps and bedtime difficult for traveling with a baby.

Wochenende zum Besuch des Weihnachtsmarktes

Wir hatten Wohnung ROT. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leise und sehr gute Lage um den Weihnachtsmarkt zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz den wir für 10.00 Eur pro Nacht dazugebucht hatten war gut vor Allem wegen des Weihnachtsmarktes. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern vor der Ankunft war via Booking und Mail und WhatsApp war prima. Ausstattung der Wohnung siehe Fotos

Das die Zufahrt zur Wohnung in der Zeit xes Weihnachtsmarkt schlecht ist und wir da gerne Informationen drüber gehabt hätten. Wir haben außer einem Stopfen für das Waschbecken in der Küche zum abwaschen und einem Putztuch für die Küche nichts vermisst.
