Excellent

Really nice hotel with convenient parking at the front of the hotel. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were only there for a quick one night stay but would be happy to stay for longer. The breakfast was exceptional.

Exceptional staff & Beautiful facility!

Front room so close to church very early bells. No AC, we had a front room that took a very long time to cool off after the sun set. Ceiling fans would be useful to move air.

Not worth it.

The location is good, the staff is attentive and nice.

The facilities are bad - there is no way this hotel should be granted 4 stars and charge the prices it does. No working AC, stuff rooms with zero ventilation and smell of humidity. The breakfast is pretty basic and also not worth four stars. Overall really not worth the value for money.

Grand Hotel - an old witness of past grandeur

Grand Hotel directly facing actual Casino in a little town where a century ago was a thermal bad resort.

The building is really old, with very thin outside walls, and in winter it is cold in rooms, while a small heater wasn't able to warm it up, just made air dry.

Pleasant

The location is nice, close to the center of the village.

The bathroom was very basic for a 4 star hotel. The room was on the last floor, directly under the flat roof, lit the whole day by the sun and there was no air conditioning. As a consequence, the room was very warm.

Good value stopover

Very gracious welcome. All staff were very pleasant. Nice location, quiet, good sized room, everything clean. There was a kettle in the room! Breakfast was good and value for money.

The decoration could do with being refreshed. The car park is pretty insecure but Niederbronn does not look like a hive of criminal activity.

Great location.

The Location was perfect, from our room we could see the casino. Walking distance to the city center and plenty restaurants near by. We could also appreciate the surroundings walking thru the paths well designated and indicated. was a wonderful experience

For a 4 star hotel was expecting better. The receptionist was very nice and helpful giving us all answers to our doubts but the room assigned to us was not prepared. Second room didnt have eating making us return to the reception ask for another one. The last room on the top floor had an amazing view from the city/mountain, but the windows and the joints in the bathroom showed lack of cleaning. For an Hotel at this level we expect far more

Comfortable stop on a road trip

Spacious and well equipped room, liked the design and the overall 1930's feel of the building. A lot of original features appear have been kept and integrated with a more modern design. Not sure when it was last renovated but it needs a little bit of TLC to keep it looking as good as it deserves.

The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing for a four-star hotel, especially the coffee (seemed to be powdered). The hotel has a grand looking set of steps which lead up to the front door, unfortunately no slope in sight to wheel suitcases up. Two sets of doors open outwards so again not super convenient if carrying luggage. That said, none of these points were a big deal and they certainly did not spoil the stay.
