Great stay

Very clean and comfortable room, and good value for money. The location was good - although it was slightly out of the city centre, it was in a quiet neighbourhood with a park and there was a bus that went directly to the city centre. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location although I'd have preferred to be more central. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

A very nice stay

The room was huge and modernly furnished – with a drawing of Freddie Mercury singing 'Bicycle' in the toilet. :-D The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast buffet was huge and very tasty. You can park in a parking garage or simply right in front of the hotel on the street. The surroundings were very quiet and safe. However, the city center of Bruges is about a 40–45 minute walk away.

The staff member at the reception told me that in Bruges you can only park in the (quite expensive) parking garages. After doing some research online – unfortunately only the next day – I found out that you can actually park in the historic center (1€ for 30min/18€ for 4h) and even for free for up to 4 hours with a parking disc, just outside the core historic area (blue zone). This would have saved me a 1 hour 20 minute walk the day before, but exercise is good anyway. ;-)

Cycled theme gem to help you explore Brugge

I loved the cycling theme of it the hotel - obvious by the name - but the homeage to past Tour De France riders, small bike touches reflected in the furniture and art. Staff were very friendly. Location was good, most people cycled into the centre of Brugge but it was only a 40 minute stroll into town.

Parking was a bit tight - inside parking you have to pay and then outdoors is free - but gets very busy.

Great base for exploring Bruges away from the tourist hustle and mayhem of the city itself.

Great breakfast, good shower and nice bed. The bar serves tapas and plenty of Belgian beers. The hotel is in a very quiet suburb of Bruges, a good 30 minutes walk from the tourist centre, but there is a handy bus to get you closer if you don't fancy the walk. The fine weather meant we got to use the outside area at the bar/restaurant this visit which was very pleasant. As well as the old town and its host of bars, restaurants and museums, there are some nice walks from the hotel along canals and the old railway line cycle path close to the hotel.

Our car broke down, and we ended up staying an extra night in a cheaper room at the back of the hotel. Not such a nice outlook, and the room facilities, fixtures and fittings just that little bit less generous. Still had the same great breakfast though, and the staff were very supportive for my car issues.

Lovely hotel

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Asked for rooms close to each other and actually got a connecting door which was lovely. Breakfast, although expensive is amazing. Easy 30 minute walk in to the centre of Bruges

If you don't want to pay for the parking, then their small outside carpark can get busy. Apart from that, nothing

Geert on reception was so refreshing, humorous and well informed. Clean, good layout of hotel. Nice rooms with comfortable bed. Tea & coffee in the rooms. Great restaurant with an excellent chef. Two great nights with set menu, presentation of food, quality and taste exceptional.

Very clean and quiet. Parking no problem.

Very Hard pillows. One young male waiter asked why my husband was trying to translate the menu. Said he would get the English one but did not bother just left us waiting. After 30mins we just left, hence did not bother eating at all there either nights.

nice hotel, fantastic city, poor fitness center

Location was great, silent and Tempelhof bus station is only 500 meters away by walk. Another option to go to the centrum is Taxi with 10 EUR (one way fee). We were lucky because local transportation was free of charge before new year time. One night we returned hotel from the centrum by walk in 30 mins. It was also very nice if you enjoy walking. Parking is only 5 EUR / night which is fantastic price for Belgium and Netherland. Besides there are also free parking places but generally full. Cafe, Bar, Restaurant and ertertainment areas were large and nice.

Fitness room was a big dissappointment for me. I was not expecting too much but i was expecting at least something deserve to called "Fitness room". This was the worst hotel fitness center i have ever seen. Tools were old, noisy, uncomfortable and not sufficient. There were not even dumbles, barbells or any other free weights. Fitness Room and Sauna was seperated by a glass and therefore access to fitness center was only possible with reservation!. Yes, you have to make a reservation for fitness center and it was almost fully booked. We had to wake up early in the morning to catch our appointment (later we regretted that we didn't sleep longer instead of it ). If somebody made a reservation for Sauna, you can not enter the fitness room. They are considered to be common area (in fact they were). As a summary, do not expect a lot from fitness center :) . I would suggest to run or ride a bike around the hotel in a beautiful nature of Brugge instead of it.

Maybe it should be to have some more exercise machines and the appointments should be longer.
