Great location, an easy walk to the historical centre and train station. Comfortable room with access to a small court yard.
Quite a limited choice for breakfast, but adequate for a hot/cold drink, toast or pastry.

Looking at the great reviews, we booked this place for a couple of nights in Siena but were very disappointed. We stayed in lovely places for a similar price in other Tuscan cities and were expecting a similar standard here. This doesn’t look like a three star B&B but more like a student dormitory. The main advantage is its proximity to the train station and city walls - 15 minute walk to the Duomo and Il Campo, it’s clean (apart from bedsite table lamps) and beds are wide and were comfy for us (despite the hard pillows only).
The things we disliked were dated decor, lack of personal touches, banging of doors and vaccuming that starts after 7.30am (even on a Sunday!), possibly as breakfast is served from that time, cleaning of rooms that starts at 8am when guests are still sleeping not in the afternoon when most people are out, basic student breakfast, poor customer service. We are grateful that we were able to check in an hour earlier on arrival but the check in was quick and impersonal and the staff member didn’t help us with bags (no lift here) and apart from giving us a map that was it. By accident we discovered a big parade that was taking place on the afternoon of our arrival. Breakfast is from ‘the packet’ - nothing fresh, no cheese or ham just cereal, soft bread to toast and packet crossaints, UHT milk and a few green apples. For a similar price you can get a much nicer accommodation in Siena. Really frustrated as we paid almost €90 a night. If you stay here be sure to lower your expectations.
