It was a comfortable respite from the heat wave. The hosts were very helpful. The location allowed easy access to St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto bridge (each about a 10 minute walk) and other parts of the city like the Jewish Ghetto. The famous book store is just around the corner. There is a lift in this building which is rare for an apartment in Venice. There are 3 steps up to get to it.

Area was central but quiet- very close to Rialto or St Mark’s square, and close to the Hospital pier for the Alilaguna from the airport
Couple of lights were burnt out ( minor), coffee machine leaks quite badly ( minor), and you are required to sort trash and deliver it to a garbage area ( that is a pain if you have to rush in the morning to catch transportation)

Nice and spacious apartment. Host was very helpful and good location away from crowds but only 15 min walking distance from main canal. Closer to Osceola ferry station which stops at santa lucia train station. Elevator was pretty convenient, we were in the 3rd floor.
