The public transport wasn’t very good, other than this it was good

Great house

This is a lovely house, it was clean and comfortable. The owner has furnished it as a home, not a holiday let. Downstairs, there is an open plan lounge and dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There was a full compliment of crockery and cutlery. There were plenty of pans, oven dishes, chopping boards a colander, etc. in fact the owner has gone to a lot of trouble to ensure there is most things you might need to cater for yourself. Yes, even an oven glove. There is also a downstairs WC. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, the water is hot. The wifi signal was consistent and covered both the house and garden. Outside the garden is quiet and spacious, there is an outdoor dining set, parasols and a twin swing seat. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. There are 3 restaurants nearby but opening hours seem rather erratic. As the name suggests the kayak rental place is a near neighbour, unfortunately when we were there the main kayak trips were suspended due to drought on the river Lesse. If you are travelling in the area by car this is a great place to stay.

The house was great. The trains from Anseremme to Dinant only run once an hour. There is also a bus service to Dinant but there are periods during the day when the buses are more than 2 hours apart. This poor public transport service is a drawback if you haven't got a car.

La proximité avec le canoë est juste très bien et à 10 minutes en voiture du centre ville de Dinant !!

Sehr gute Lage für Fahrradtouren oder Wanderungen, da man direkt vom Haus aus starten kann

Das Haus befindet sich drei Kilometer entfernt von Dinant. Es gibt drei sehr gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch ein Supermarkt ist weniger als 1 km entfernt. Abends ist es sehr ruhig, allerdings hört man manchmal die Züge und am Wochenende ist tagsüber viel los, da ein Kajak Verleih in unmittelbarer Nähe ist.

Mooie en nette accomodatie op een rustige plaats niet ver van centrum. Ruime slaapkamers. Privé parkeerplaats om de moto´s Te plaatsen van straat en uit het zicht. Vriendelijke eigenaars. WAS TOP!

Que du positif pour notre séjour dans cette belle maison

Très belle et grande maison, bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien - sauf de beau temps..... Donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jardin. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, communication fiable. La gare d'Anseremme se trouvant à moins de 5 minutes à pied, c'est pratique aussi pour aller à Dinant. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 jours, mais c'est une jolie région, j'espère pouvoir revenir. La location de kayak est juste à côté de la maison. Supermarché dans le village et "mimi la frite" où nous avons bien mangé.
