A lovely old cottage, with loads of character, in a great location.

This is an amazing property, an old cottage on the banks of the River Meuse, in a quiet location but just a short distance from the centre of Dinant (you can walk along the river). It's spacious, extremely well kitted out and full of character, including lots of ducks and water fowl, and a huge garden to sit out in.

I didn’t want to leave this beautiful cottage!

The property was beautiful and had everything you could ask for! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, fully appointed kitchen, robes and beautiful spa like touches for the bathrooms, and even a welcome bottle of wine. I would 100% stay here again!

If you have kiddos - there are lots of breakable decorations and dishes. We moved everything we were concerned about and had no issues but it does require a bit of baby proofing.

Unfortunately, two days before we arrived one of the family members was injured in an accident. We all had to urgently return to our country so that he could undergo surgery. We were immediately informed that we would not be arriving but the owners of the place refused to consider the situation and not only did they not agree not to charge the money but did not even agree to reduce the billing costs.

Great place for Adults and families looking for a peaceful break.

Riverside cottage is in a wonderful location and has a huge garden that the dogs could run around in. Turn right out of the Cottage here is a lovely walk along the river towards a vineyard. Dinant center is a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk. The cottage is a great retreat and has really comfy beds. It has plenty of room and we would stay there again. The host is lovely and very helpful. Well worth a stay.

Cozy, perfec stay in Dinant

Our whole stay from start to finish was more than great! The kind host handed us the keys and already lightened up the fireplace, which was really comfortable. She explained everything and gave us a tour of the house. What an amazing house, the bedrooms are beautiful, as well as the dining room and the cozy living room with the fireplace. The location is just a couple of minutes from the centre of Dinant and next to a river with a huge garden. Next time we will visit this area, we will choose this house again. Thank you Dominique, you have a lovely house!

We werden hartelijk verwelkomd door de charmante eigenares, de hondjes waren ook zeer welkom! Prachtig ingericht sfeervol huisje met grote en magnifieke tuin. Alles is tip top, met liefde en smaak ingericht, zeer gerieflijk, alle benodigdheden in de keuken. Terras met zetels en luifel, fietsen, spelletjes,... noem maar op! Heerlijke master bedroom met vrijstaand bad , kwalitatieve badjassen beschikbaar, en prima bedden. Kortom, een aanrader 🥰

Cottage merveilleux

En réalité le cottage est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Le cottage dispose de tout dont on pourrait avoir besoin et est magnifiquement décoré. Le jardin est très grand et très beau. Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse absolue et nous nous sommes absolument sentis à l'aise. Un grand merci à Dominique et à son épouse. Votre cottage est un véritable petit bijou.

Wat een prachtig huis op een schitterende locatie. Wij hebben hier een hele mooie week gehad! Werkelijk alles is aanwezig in het huisje en de gast heer en gastvrouw zorgen ervoor dat het aan niets ontbreekt!

Ein Haus mit Charakter, etwas britisch anmutend, gut geeignet für mehrtägigen Aufenthalt.

Lage des Ferienhauses in einer Sackgasse. Super großer Garten in ruhiger Lage direkt am Wasser, wenn man von der Straße weiter oben und der Bahn absieht (Ruhe in der Nacht), viele Ausstattungsdetails im Haus, bequeme Matratzen, Bademäntel für alle, sehr gute Dusche, 2 WCs mit Handwaschbecken, Bad gut zu lüften, Mülltrennung, 4-flammiger Gasherd, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner in der Küche, 2 Nespresso-Maschinen, Mikrowelle, Netflix, 2 Fernseher, Radiogeräte, Fahrräder verfügbar (ein Damenrad, diverse Herrenräder), Küche mit ganz viel Ausrüstung, sehr viel Deko, Kleenex und ausreichend WC-Papier, Putzmittel und Grundausstattung, Gewürze sowie Bücher, auch Kochbücher vorhanden, massig Sitzmöbel auch im Garten an verschiedenen Stellen (diese sind bequem und zum Teil auch mit Polstern zu bestücken), Esstisch bei Ankunft schon gedeckt, belgische Ostereier und Wein dabei, im Wohnzimmer ein gasbetriebener Kamin, der mollige Wärme produziert, sehr nette Vermieter, die allerdings nicht in der Nähe wohnen. Sie haben die schlüsselübergabe und Erklärung des Hauses persönlich gemacht und sind per Whatsapp/ SMS zu erreichen. Man kann zu Fuß zur Innenstadt von Dinant, was sich auf jeden Fall lohnt, an der Maas entlanggehen in einer guten halben Stunde, oder etwas näher ranfahren. In der Innenstadt sind Parkplätze kostenpflichtig. Es gibt ganz viel Gastronomie und diverse Dinge zu besichtigen. Guter Startpunkt auch für vielfältige Wanderungen in der Region. Nächster, gut sortierter Supermarkt in etwa 20 Min zu Fuß/ 5 Min mit dem Auto. Spazierweg flussabwärts vorbei an Weinbergen. Wir haben das Haus mit 5 Personen bewohnt. Der Esstisch ist deutlich größer, für 8 Personen. An das größte Schlafzimmer schließt sich eine Galerie direkt unter dem Dach an, auf der sich noch ein Doppelbett befindet - wir haben das nicht gebraucht.

Vermutlich kein für Kleinkinder (obwohl Hochstuhl vorhanden) oder gehbehinderte Personen geeignetes Haus. Die Vermieter sprechen kein Deutsch, was für uns persönlich kein Problem ist. Die Sitzmöbel waren größtenteils nicht sehr bequem, die Lampen zwar zahlreich aber eher dekorativ, oft zu schwach zum Lesen oder Handarbeiten. Da schon viele Sachen (Geschirr in großen Mengen) in den Schränken sind, bleibt weniger Platz für mitgebrachte Einkäufe etc. Die Treppe nach oben ist recht steil, was für uns aber auch kein Problem war (es gibt sogar eingebaute Nachtbeleuchtung).

Geweldig sfeervol verblijf met uiterst vriendelijk en warm ontvangst door Dominique (eigenaresse).

Geweldig ontvangst en zeer sfeervol huis (zowel aan buitenkant als inrichting). Woonkamer voorzien van gashaard maakt het helemaal compleet (los van de geweldig ingerichte kamers). Tafel was bij aankomst volledig uitgebreid gedekt voor avond diner. Alle log aan de eigenaresse Dominique: kosteloos heeft zij de 2 “vergeten” E-readers naar ons huisadres gestuurd. Een aanrader deze locatie, beter/ sfeervoller krijg je het bijna niet :)

très joli petit cottage bien équipé avec 3 belles chambres, facilement accessible, grand jardin parfait pour que notre chien se dégourdisse les pattes 😉 très belle décoration de Noël... on s'y sent bien pour quelques jours en famille 🥰 il ne manquait que la neige!☃️
