Feeling at home in Locarno

Cosy appartement with all necessary facilities. Really comfortable beds and a welcoming living room. We received a lot of gifts (chocolate, wine, sweets) upon our arrival, which was really appreciated! Daily cleaning service included and also a bottle of sparkling and still water provided every day. Great location in the center of Locarno, easily accessible. Parking space available on reservation. Recommended 10/10!

Bijoux apartment behing Piazza Grande in Locarno

The apartment is just incredibly comfortable, new furnished with a lot of taste and attention to detail. It is right by the main square in Locarno, literally best location ever. The kitchen has all you need and the owner welcomed us with some fresh drinks, a bottle of wine, pastries and some other sweet treats. Just insanely amazing 😍 beach towels are also available for free upon request and there’s daily housekeeping (very friendly lady)

Personally I need total darkness to sleep and this just can’t happen in this apartment. There’s only one key per apartment regardless of number of guests and ringing the doorbell is quite confusing since there are two apartments.

A gem of a place to stay!

A beautiful, spacious apartment with a small balcony in the heart of the old town, but still quiet. Lovely furnishings, a very comfortable bed and nice extra touches on arrival (snacks and sweets and a bottle of wine). We had a little difficulty finding the apartment - head for the restaurant by the same name and you'll be right there!

Disappointing not to have had a Ticino Card as we were there for 3 days and used a lot of the tourist attractions.

Decorations, kitchen equipment

Noise till 2-4 am.because of people coming back from bars and restaurants. And from 6 am because of renovation works on Piazza Grande. No door between sleeping part and living room with window to the street closed to Piazza Grande.. Absence of any hanger for an overcoat or jacket in the entry hall of 1m2 (plus the bathroom right near entry door). Wardrobe in sleeping area is without doors. So you see all your overcoats and clothes from your bed. We made a mistake to take our son 13 y.o.with hope to pay additional fees on the place. Lady in charge of client's service raised a full scandal with the requirement to place the child in another apartment or hotel. She was chating infront of our chaild crazy way. We had a strong stress next 2 days! By the way according to her this appartment allows adults older 30 y.o. only! Finaly we were obliged to rent an another apartment for me and my son and my husband stayed alone in this one.. As they refused to make any kind of refund. The most horrible experience in our life!

Our host was really friendly. He came as soon as we called to give us the keys and show us the appartement. We felt really welcomed. The apartment is really nice, beautifully decorated and makes you feel at home. Its location is also amazing, really close to the center of Locarno, but still very quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

As the name of the place was not written in the street, we weren't sure to be at the right place once we arrived at the given address. However, the host was very helpful, answering the phone immediately and confirming our location.

Beautiful, clean, central place, but lost a bit of charm the second time around.

The Location is so perfect. on weekends, when concerts take place at the piazza grande, you can listen to them from your couch when opening the windows. the trattoria downstairs is also fabulous when open.

we stayed in this appartment for a second time because our first stay in 2020 was sooo perfect. unfortunatly, this time arround we were not as happy :( Something about the bed was changed so we could feel every iron feather from the mattres and not being able to reach the hosts was a bit frustrating at a time. the trattoria was closed aswell so we didnt get to enjoy the delicous food.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and the host was so lovely and welcoming. Quiet, relaxing and so incredibly clean. The bed was so comfortable. Perfect location and everything you could need for cooking food if you need to. Excellent aperitivo upon arrival and the breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. Everything was just perfect, would absolutely stay here again!!

Agréable séjour à Locarno

Appartement traversant situé au 1er étage, à deux pas de la Piazza Grande, avec vue d'un côté sur une petite ruelle calme, de l'autre sur une cour intérieure avec la Trattoria des propriétaires en dessous. Accueil sympa, beaucoup de petits cadeaux pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. Logement spacieux pour deux, bien rénové, pas de bruit; jolie déco, très propre, la femme de ménage passe tous les jours. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Gepflegte, saubere und schöne Wohnung. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Willkommensgruss mit Wein und richtig feinen Süssigkeiten ist ausserordentlich! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Danke! Garagenplatz zu CHF 25 pro Nacht ist sehr praktisch.

Während der ersten Nacht wurde auf der Piazza Grande die ganze Nacht durch "Moon and Stars" abgebaut. Der Baulärm war sehr störend, worauf aber die Wohnungsanbieter keinen Einfluss hatten. Es erstaunt, dass solche Nachtarbeiten überhaupt erlaubt sind. Es hat von allem (Teller, Tassen, Besteck, usw.) genau 2 Stück. So macht der Geschirrspüler nicht wirklich Sinn. Der Abwaschschwamm sah grässlich aus. Wir haben einen neuen gespendet :-) Die "Abdichtung" des Abluftrohrs des Klimagerätes hatte sich gelöst. So kam laufend wieder warme Abluft rein. Schade und bitte beheben.

Top Lage, super Unterkunft

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. In der Wohnung wartete schon eine süsse Überraschung auf uns. Da wir das moon and stars besuchten, war es eine super Lage, direkt oberhalb der Piazza Grande.

Für Personen die empfindlich auf Lärm sind, ist diese Wohnung nichts. Wir sind es zum Glück nicht und konnten super schlafen.

Tolles grosses Appartement. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten (Wein, Panettone, Himbeerküechli, Biscuits, etc.). Restaurant sehr gute Küche und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Unmittelbare Nähe zur Piazza Grande.
