Abbiamo alloggiato nell’appartamento Le Gueuloir, una dependance appena sotto la villa in cui si trovano gli altri appartamenti. Posizione perfetta, in una zona così tranquilla da sembrare in mezzo al nulla, ma a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di Étretat. Dalla veranda, attrezzata con tavolo, sedie, tavolino e barbecue, si gode di una splendida vista sul mare, sull’arco e la falesia. L’alloggio è accogliente, nel verde, ci si sente a casa. Cucina attrezzata molto bene, con stoviglie di tutti i tipi, microonde, macchina da caffè, lavastoviglie e lavasciuga. Letto molto comodo, più letto di un hotel che di un semplice appartamento. L’ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e silenzio assoluti.

Avrei forse messo un aspiratore nel bagno dove c’è il WC, dato che questo si affaccia direttamente in cucina.

The views are fantastic, the area is quiet and peaceful, and the building is interesting. The location is within a short walking distance to Etretat cliffs. Communication with the host was easy.

The apartment is in the old villa, with some updates done, mostly to the bathroom and the windows, but otherwise the place is run down and needs a lot of work and proper cleaning (e.g. carpets are very old, closets are cluttered with dirty cleaning supplies, there are cracks and peeling paint on the walls, lots of insects around, the floors, tables and counters are sticky, the towels are stained). The kitchen is so tiny that all dishes and small appliances are set up in the living room closets. The place is usable for a night or two but uncomfortable, I would not stay there until it's renovated and cleaned properly. Hospitality is low effort: no toiletries except for hand soap, no fan during heatwave, extremely slow internet.
