The dream house overlooking the sea in France!

The house is so cozy, the terrace view spectacular towards Etrat rock on the beach. Daniel greeted us to give us the house keys, he was the only French who came to accommodate us, speaking English well! The house has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation! It is decorated like a home not just a tourist place. We felt like home in Etrat in this great house!

The apartment was exeptional and wonderful. It was on the hill and has a beautiful view at the famous elephant rocks of Etretat. There was a special feeling of french nature living in it. It was very pleasant to have breakfast and to dine in the courtyard looking at the rocks. We liked authentic style of the apartment, it was very well equiped. The bed was comfortable and big. There were a lot of space for two of us. The host Daniel was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us many good advices about Etretat and other places of the region. Thank you, Daniel!

Best View in Etretat

The view from the apartment was incredible! You get to see Etretat from above and you can even see the ocean and the cliffs from there. Its only a short walk from the apartment down to Etretat. You can reach the beach within 10 Minutes.

Cozy and comfortable.

Smooth riding, our host Daniel was super friendly and nice. Instructions to reach location very accurate and the location was superb, a straight view from the terrace of the Falaise d'Aval. The place was at walking distance to Etretat center and the main sightseeing objects. Cozy and comfortable!

Can't really think of anything other to remark on than that the beds ware a bit soft to our liking. Otherwise everything was up to expectations. We got our moneys worth and enjoyed our stay in beautiful Etretat.

I would gladly recommend this place to my friends but suggest to manage the expectations though.

It all depends on your expectations. We came prepared, knowing that this is a very old house by the shore with all the things that involves. Only this way you can take those “problems” as “features” and enjoy the best thing about this place - the view! The kitchen was well equipped, the location is perfect to be a bit away from all the tourist noise in the village. So this makes it a great place for a vacation in a very special place in Normandy. Great value for the money.

The plumbing could use some renovation, expect to triple your usual shower time. Your towels will have a hard time drying due to very moist air and the old plumbing with not very efficient towel heaters doesn’t help. This is an old house, so you are gonna hear your neighbours do the sounds people do. We had a second floor apartment, the stairs are pretty steep to get there, so if you are traveling with very old or very young - note, that this could be a bit of a challenge to walk up there. But again – if you know what to expect, all those things are a feature and not a big problem.

De badkamer mag extra aandacht krijgen. Douchen in bad is niet fijn. De waterdruk van de douche kan beter. De stoelen en het bankje in de woonkamer zijn aan vervanging toe.

Le Gueuloir is een zeer geriefelijk appartement. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht om het verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te maken. Heel handig de bushaltes op loopafstand om de GR21 te kunnen lopen.

Un Havre de paix

La Maison de la Rose, et plus particulièrement le Gueuloir, était un vrai Havre de paix niché en plein cœur d'un terrain boisé. La vue était à couper le souffle et Daniel et le personnel accueillants, chaleureux et très serviables. Nous avons hâte de retourner dans ce lieu si intimiste ! De manière plus pratique : le Gueuloir est très bien équipé. Nous n'avons manqué de rien.

Nous y avons tellement passé un excellent séjour que même les défauts nous paraissent faire parti du charme du lieu.

Beau séjour avec la vue des falaises.

La très belle vue des falaises d'Etretat.

Nous sommes arrivés tard - il n'y a pas de lumières à l'extérieur et nous avons eu bcp de mal à trouver l'entrée. Il y a plusieurs logements et c'est très difficile de trover l'entrée sans écalairage propre. C'est aussi difficile de trouver l'endroit pour se garer la nuit.

La situation géographique est impeccable. Très belle vue sur les falaises d'Etretat. la plage est à 10 minutes à pied. Il y a les restaurants un petit carrefour à coté. Pour l'appartement il y a tout. Des équipements lave vaisselle, lave linge , et un barbecue. La terrasse est magnifique avec sa très belle vue. Le logement est très intime

Il y avait quand même de la poussière et une présence des toiles d'araignées. J'ai une allergie. J'ai du nettoyé la poussière par moi même.

Une maison charmante, quoique vieillote, mais avec une vue extraordinaire

La vue était superbe, l'hôte agréable et réactif. L'emplacement est idéal (calme, mais très proche du centre) et charmant, la bâtisse en elle-même est très belle, l'équipement de la cuisine est top, tout comme la literie. Appartement très propre à notre arrivée, qui elle même était facile (parking simple d'accès, réception des clés aisées). Volumes intérieurs agréables.

Petite invasion de fourmis et de mouches volantes à l'arrivée (traitée prestement par de l'anti-insecte, on en a plus vu à nouveau et le ménage a été fait par la suite). L'intérieur est un peu délabré (meubles mal ajustés, finitions parfois mal réalisées, traces d'humidité), et le débit de la douche de la salle de bain est pour le moins insuffisant. Il s'agit principalement d'irritants, mais rien de nature à gâcher le séjour, en particulier si l'on prévoit de rester seulement un week-end.

Au calme absolu (à l'exception d'une fête, agrémentée d'une musique tonitruante d'un soir dans le complexe hôtelier qui jouxte la propriété) avec vue sur les falaises. Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique, une petite semaine reposante dans cette région de Normandie d'une beauté à couper le souffle.. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire des lieux. Rapport qualité-prix imbattable.

Вид очень красивый ,есть парковка бесплатная,квартира очень чистая,кухня очень хорошо оборудована,моющее ,губка ,все имеется ,посудомойка хорошая+таблетки для нее ,большой холодильник ,духовка (что редкость в большинстве квартир),кофеварка и даже капсульная Nespresso.До моря 12 минут с горки идти вниз .Хозяина не видели.Но он интересовался приехали ли мы .

1.Идти с моря назад под горку .Очень тяжеловато .Квартира на втором этаже (на троих и больше человек подходит только второй этаж ) с крутой лестницей.Чемодан если тяжелый ,занести очень и очень проблематично .2.Не понравилось то ,что хозяин предупреждал ,что внизу на первом этаже его дома жильцам слышен каждый наш шаг.Но что нам делать то было ?Не ходить по квартире или летать ?
