The surrounding areas and the views from our bedroom. It’s beautiful next to the river.
The bed was comfy but creaked every time we moved.

the location was great a we paddled on the canal at the back of the hotel. to improve I was made aware of the difference between looking out on the river by chance, which was great...please tel others about the view
hard to access the hotel by the road, we could haVE BEEN TOLD ABOUT THE CAR PARK FEES BEFORE WE GOT THERE, which were refunded

the room was clean and had a great veiw of the river,
the food was very good,and the prices and service was excellent,
we were having a very nice stay until the next room was occupied by people banging on the partition wall until 2.30am
we did not have the breakfast since we do not like continental,and would have prefered an English cooked one,
we would have been happy to pay extra for the cooked option,
also if you do not have a car and are older,the walk to get to the shops is quite a long way,
pleasant,but long.... the room was smaller than we are used to,and the matress was not comfy,

The views were lovely
Very small room for the price...unable to get hot food on the Sunday night which still seems to be an issue..no hot breakfast as part of the price so after a long walk on the Sunday I didn't get any hot food until I left on the Monday apart from a small bowl of chips..a small bowl and chips and glass of diet coke £10:95..very high prices. The bed was hard...around the bottom of the shower not in great condition....price didn't reflect the standard..I think the price is based on the location..you could find nicer for cheaper
