Somma Lombardo charm!

Franco is one of the most considerate hosts i've ever experienced. Five stars all the way around. There were even fresh hair rollers and sanitary options for women. I've been to 5 star hotels.That didn't care this much about your stay.He offered an umbrella when it was raining and helped me put my bag on the train when I was running late. Must stay here if you have the chance. I might come back to italy just to visit Franco! Plus it's so beautiful. All of the little knick knacks and decorations, right by the bell tower, amazing.

WOW - it is truly outstanding abd a special place! The host Franco and his family were super-hospitable. The accomodation is upmarket, beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was sumptuous, delicious and had a great variety. Very centrally located : a 5 minute drive from the airport, the station is close by, and easy access to many interesting places to visit and so many things to do. Very grateful to have found this place - a real jewel, and we have booked for a further 3 days on our return journey next week.

They are exceptionally charming, elegantly designed, filled with subtle fragrance and a sense of beauty, deeply infused with the warm and luminous story of the host family. We had a late evening flight. We emailed Franco in advance and he waited for us till 1am!!!! Helped us with early morning transportation. Breakfast was waiting for us including gluten free because of diet restrictions. Coffee was great! The best thing was the room! So pretty and comfortable. We slept very good! Super clean, super cute! We were sad to leave. Big Thanks!

A very warm welcome. Property was extremely clean. Lush flowers in courtyard and in our apartment. Many little touches made this our most favorite place we stayed. I felt safe and well cared for during our stay. Their hospitality is top notch like it comes from their soul. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Makes us want to return and stay longer.

The reception was truly amazing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they did their best to make us feel comfortable. We were very impressed and pleased with our stay. The accommodation was excellent, as was the breakfast.

Too short, it was wonderful

I was on a 16 hour layover and only stayed one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer. Franco and his family are so hospitable, the place is spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and they went out of their way to help me get to the airport in the middle of the night. It’s a great place to have as a base to explore the surrounding area. The town is small and cute.

Amazing cozy place

Everything was more than lovely! The owner was very kind to us and did everything he could to make us feel like at home. We were staying there 2 nights with a week in between and the second time we came he even gave us separate rooms. The breakfast was just amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely go there again if landing in Milano.

Extremely pleasant stay, super vegan friendly, caring hosts!

Super vegan friendly! Our stay was prepared with great care by Franco and his wife. They went out of their way to give us a wonderful breakfast, complete with great quality coffee, roasted apples and all sorts of cookies and breads for us. Since we are vegan, we've had some bad experiences, where we paid for breakfast and we didn't have any value for our money, but this was the best breakfast yet! Plus, we were treated with great care and generosity, and that has no price. I really feel sorry we couldn't stay longer!

Parking is not easy in that area, it would have been great if we had a parking spot waiting...

We felt better than home!

The town is small, traditional and near Milan. The place was really nice, warm, with many traditional details and decorations. It also has floor heating. We had a kitchen at our service next to our room. The breakfast was amazing, in separate room with great service from the hosts. We received free still and sparkling water (no limit), few biscuits, juice, some diary products etc.

Wunderbare und sehr freundliche Gasrgeber

Ein wunderbares vielfältiges Frühstück wurde uns serviert und nach besonderen Wünschen gefragt. Wir hatten eine gemütliche Wohnung, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist, zur Verfügung, leider waren wir da nur für eine Nacht. Ein längerer Aufenthalt würde sich sehr anbieten. Wir sind mit dem Zug unterwegs gewesen. Weil alle Züge ausgefallen sind, hat uns unser Gastgeber vom Bahnhof in sesto calende abgeholt. Das hat uns ausserordentlich gefreut, wir hätten sonst die 8 km gehen müssen. Für diese freundliche Geste danken wir nochmals ganz herzlich. Somma lombardo hat uns sehr gefallen. Am Bahnhof werden in der kleinen Bar wunderbare warme Sandwiches serviert.

Situata într-o zona pitoreasca, casa este una în care orice călător și-ar dori sa facă un popas. Gazdele, dl Franco și d-na Gilda sunt oameni buni, frumoși și primitori care au reușit să ne asigure tot confortul. Apartamentul pus la dispoziție e decorat cu foarte mult bun gust, grădina este superba și micul dejun a fost delicios! Apreciem in mod deosebit atentia cu care am fost tratati si efortul gazdelor de a face sederea noastra extrem de placuta. Mulțumim și sperăm să revedem acest loc!

Collocata in un vicolo del centro storico, la struttura si presenta bene, pulita, in ordine e tenuta bene. In un cortile privato. Più che una camera, era un bilocale ampio. Arredi un po’ âgé. Personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione standard. Se ci fosse la doccia anziché la vasca, sarebbe ancora meglio
