About this house rental
Our remodeled home is perfectly located, a home base for roaming all the remarkable sites and scenery of the Pikes Peak region. We are located in the heart of Old Colorado City, affectionately called the 'OCC'. The 'OCC' blends it's historic character with modern boutiques, award winning restaurants and local art galleries. Whether you plan to browse the shops and galleries, enjoy fine dining or attend a seasonal event, a trip to Old Colorado City will be a richly rewarding experience.
The landscape will set this house apart from all others. This custom landscape was designed with luxury and relaxation in mind. As you enter the backyard you will first come to a custom built in BBQ with a bar. BBQ and bar are covered with an open pergola, bar top seating, decorated with rope lighting. Next, you enter the fire place hang out area to rest and unwind and have a drink! Last but not least is the hot-tub area. You will find a custom-built pergola with privacy curtains, perfect for a rejuvenating soak. In the warmer months, this backyard also has beautiful annual floral pots throughout. All in all, the backyard area is designed to have you excited to return after a long day of sightseeing and adventure in beautiful Colorado Springs. Come enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather in one of Colorado's finest landscapes.
In every bedroom there is a closet with hangers, a fan for white nose, black-out blinds, a TV, charging stations. (there are black out shade through out the house)
*Vintage arcade games in garage: Pac Man and Donkey Kong
There is also a mud room space for shoes and coats.
The property is fully enclosed with fences and locked gates.

Enjoyed all the amenities, hot tub, arcade, darts. Very thoughtful in extra personal touches. Quiet neighborhood, great easy location for downtown, mt bike, hwy 24 to Breckenridge.

Clothes washing machine is not working and they are waiting on parts. We stayed for two weeks and chose to hand wash our clothes. Needs better cleaning, primarily dusting of the ceiling fan and window sills. Needs some maintenance, touch up paint and deeper cleaning. This is an old house that was half-way remodeled. I would not put this house into the Luxury category but is certainly acceptable. We stayed in October and the neighborhood was quiet. I recommend a more personal inspection from the Owner to ensure the cleaning and items are as described. I suspect owner may be depending on cleaning service that isn't living up to contract requirements. I really don't know. Would stay again if concerns were corrected before we stay. Overall, not a bad stay, wish we knew clothes washer was broke before we reserved this unit. Ask questions before you reserve this house. Host seems very nice.

We had a fantastic week. My son who lives local was able to visit and hang out daily. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday!! Also enjoyed the fireplace outside very much!!!
