This lovely two-story cape cod home has 3 BR up with a full bath. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, queen bedroom and a full bath. There are hardwood floors throughout. Step out on to the deck and enjoy the view. Enjoy the outdoors while cooking out on the grill or snuggling by the fire pit! You may see deer or turkeys at any given moment. Pre-approved K-9 companions welcome ONLY WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. There is plenty of room to play catch, play corn hole or go for a walk on 5 secluded acres. Bring your boat it is a quick drive to Lake Erie! Plenty of parking. There is so much to see in Ashtabula County. Covered Bridges, Wineries, Historic Lift Bridge, Geneva Grape Jamboree, D Day, Ashtabula County Fair, Thunder on the Strip, Spire Institute. I have stayed in soo many properties over the last several years & this one is by far the most accommodating. The owner has thought of everything. She is also very quick to respond & such a delight. It is spacious & though several people can stay, everyone felt comfortable with privacy. I could not have asked for a better property. Huge backyard for the kids to run & a nice firepit for evening laughs. Watching the wildlife in the backyard was so cool for my granddaughters. We watched a family of turkeys in the morning & deer grazing at night.

Our group of 6 has stayed here 2 years in a row for our gals get away weekend. There is plenty of room for our group, comfortable beds, great patio, great fire pit. Everything we need for a weekend of relaxing and catching up with one another. Highly recommend!

We had a good visit, and found your place comfortable and relaxed, and love the personal feel with your antique furniture and bed linen, and nice to have the space and back garden. With less guests than we were meant to be having the one bathroom was fine but if we had been a bigger group who weren't all family I think access to upstairs bathroom through one bedroom would have been awkward- that might be something to mention to avoid potential negative comments.

We enjoyed our stay. We could all stay under one roof. Family from various places in Ohio and NC. The grandkids had a big back yard to play frisbee, corn hole and soccer. The fire pit and chairs were perfect for hot dogs and s’mores. The quaint place was furnished with items maybe you forgot. Dollar general and has close by. 20 mins from GOTL

We throughly enjoyed the peaceful setting and used the fire pit several times. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need or want. Got to see some deer and wild turkeys in the field behind the house but the spectacular show was the lighting bugs. They gave the aurora borealis a run for its money. Would stay again.

This house might look small from the outside, but it is much bigger than it appears. Our party included my wife and I, three kids between the ages of 11 and 17, my parents and our dog. The house had everything we needed for our 3 day stay.

This home is beautiful with the most magnificent quilts in each room. It's larger than we expected both inside and outside. There is a huge front and backyard. We played yard games and enjoyed smores by the fire ring. We had a family emergency during our stay and the owner kindly made arrangements for us to extend our stay. We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed being close to our family as well as so many local attractions.

This place was really great for the price. Plenty of room and lots of beds. The place was very clean. There were lots of cooking utensils and options for use, as well as a cabinet with different spices, which was convenient. It felt homey and inviting and the host was quick to respond to questions and was helpful. There was lots of info provided with local amenities and things to do in the area. It was a pleasant surprise and helpful for our stay. The only thing we wish we were advised of prior to the trip was the high sulphur content in the water, which makes it smell a bit unpleasant. However, the water was clean and safe to drink, bathe and cook with. There were plenty of towels and blankets Overall a wonderful stay. We would come back in the future.

We stayed at this property for 4 night. The house is very nice and the yard is a great size. We spent our evenings around the fire each night. The owner even delivered us some firewood to use. The location is very private yet close enough to actives and stores.

This house was a perfect stay for a Bachlorette weekend in Wine Country! It's close enough to visit the wineries all day and then retreat back for relaxing evenings. House was Clean, beds were comfy and the firepit was great! Everything we needed and Deb was easy to get ahold of to answer all the questions we had before getting there. Thanks again!

The place was nice. If I had to give any advice maybe update the cookware. We stayed for a week and wanted to cook some meals and the pans are not non stick so it was difficult to cook and more seating. We had family over and we couldn’t sit together for meals. But we had a good stay.

Our little group of ladies in our family really enjoyed our stay. Deb thought of everything from listings for restaurants and brochures for things to do in the area. Our family of seven loved this home. The first night we grilled on the back porch and later that night roasted s'mores over the fire pit. The house was roomy, clean, and just about perfect. It was close to Lake Erie, so we spent at least two days relaxing on the shores. Loved it. A great vacation, a great house, with a country feel. And to add to the experience, the owner was great, very responsive!

We rented the home to visit the wineries. For the most part the wineries we was most interested in visiting was about 15-20 mins away (ferrante, south river, m cellars, debonne). The home was spacious and very clean. The clean up was very easy and check in was a breeze! The owner was very response to all of my emails. The fire pit was great. The beds were comfortable. The house was a great temperature and each bedroom, except for the downstairs bedroom, had window Ac units for added comfort. I can’t stress enough how clean the home was. It comfortably accommodated 7 adults. The only suggestion I would make is an upgrade on the cooking skillets/pans. They are not non stick and i really killed breakfast using the skillets. I was doing dishes and looked out the window and saw a crane walking in the yard. I went to show my friend and we walked outside, and there was several wild turkeys. I would most definitely recommend this home to others. Thanks Deb for sharing your home.

We were very pleased with accommodations at the house in Jefferson. Very clean and plenty of sleeping room. The owner was very helpful with things to do in the area. We took full advantage of beautiful fire pit and gained a few pounds eating smores! A lot of activities withiwithin 20 min drive. Walnut beach was beautiful... kids loved it! Also loved adventure zone in GOTL. If your into wineries there are a ton in within short distance. Again can't say enough how nice debs place is! Hope this is helpful!

A great retreat location to relax and enjoy family, close to lake, hiking, fishing, shopping, wineries. Deb was helpful with suggestions on things to do. I would suggest to future guest to try the pies (pie Friday) at the bulk goods place at the intersection of 45 and clay. They were so tasty the filling was the best I've ever had. Two couples spent three nights. Our two Shelties also enjoyed the property with us. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, beds and beautiful antiques. Although we only prepared breakfasts and one large dinner side dish (to take to a family gathering) the kitchen had everything we could have needed. The home was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed watching the wild turkey visitors. Due to rain, we were not able to use the deck or the fire pit. Inviting options nonetheless. Our pre-arrival communications with the owner were responsive to our few questions and prompt. We recommend this rental and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you VRBO and Deb!

We chose the area because we were planning a family get together and it was about halfway between where we are in NJ and where our family is in IL. We loved the home as soon as we drove up! It has a welcoming front yard and curb appeal. When we entered the home we noticed how beautifully decorated it is and how large. You can see that Deb has put a lot of love and care into this home. The kitchen is very large and well stocked with everything needed to make those big family meals. We loved sitting on the back deck with our morning coffee or afternoon drinks and the firepit was a huge hit at night! We plan on returning again for the same family gathering.

This was our second time staying at this lovely country home. We had a wonderful time the outdoors were amazing fires at night with mashmellows roasting. The small country shops were amazing. We had a great time at this lovely home. Everything was ready and waiting for us after our long drive north. The house had more then enough room for five grandchildren and adults. Very close to dining, shopping and just about anything else one would need . Including the family we were visiting! We were treated to a light dusting of snow, twice, and a wild turkey struttin' by!
