This home, built in 1927, is located on the east end of The Strip, in a neighborhood of full time residents. The location allows you the quiet enjoyment of a neighborhood, with a short walk to the bustle of Geneva on the Lake's entertainment strip. Two stories, with 3 bedrooms and full bath upstairs, a Dining room and living room with hardwood floors throughout. Large back yard with plenty of room for sunning, croquet, volleyball or bocce. Fenced back yard features a pergola and firepit; charcoal grill provided. The house was already nice but they updated the front porch and screened it in with windows.and carpet on the floor. Safe for toddlers and cozy beyond words.

Had a great week staying at this house for the Fourth of July/anniversary/summer vacation! House was excellently located and well maintained. Only minor issue is the fenced in back yard was not fully fenced - there was an opening in the bushes that my dog found immediately so had to leash him all week.

The house was just a short walk to the strip. The house was nicely furnished and well supplied with what u needed to stay a few days. Only negative thing I have to say is they need to be a little more thorough with cleaning. There was some garbage under the couch. We even found someone’s wallet tucked in the cushions on the couch. Also a few dust web strings on a couple lights. But for the most part it was pretty clean and tidy. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at the Ross J. Lomas 1927 house. The location was perfect for our family and allowed us to walk to the lake, food, and activities. The house and backyard worked well for our family of 5 with our dog. The host was very easy to communicate with for any questions or concerns. Thanks for your sharing your place with us, we hope to make this our annual GOL spot!

The property is spotless; sheets/towels are provided for each guest, and the kitchen is well-stocked with dinnerware, drinkware, and cookware—plenty of utensils are also available. Our party consisted of Grandpa, Grandma, Daughter, Son-in-law, 2 grandsons and 2 family dogs. Our grandsons and dogs loved the fenced backyard to run and play while the adults sat under the pergola and enjoyed the sunshine. It's a short walk to the strip but the heat during our stay forced us to drive; parking was easily available along the strip. The entire family agreed we chose the perfect location!

This house is in a great location. Lindsay is great and let us in early since the house was ready. The downfall is there is only one bathroom and that is bad when you have a house full. Recommend putting one in the basement it is big enough down there for one.

A wonderful spacious property with plenty of amenities! We have come to GOTL for the last 20 years and this has been our favorite place to stay. The large, fenced in backyard is great for one or multiple pups! Full sized kitchen allowed us to enjoy homemade family dinners! Great proximity to the strip, while also offering peace and quiet! We plan on making this property our annual rental!

The location was perfect! You were close enough to the strip, but not on it. The house was fully stocked with all the little extras such as paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and more! Thee we fenced in back yard was very spacious and very private!!! We played corn hole and sat under the pergola. Great place to stay!! We will go back! Highly recommend it!

Lovely property with the most amazing back yard. Sitting in the yard, in the morning, with cup of coffee and the many birds chirping away was just fantastic. Close enough to the strip that you can walk to it but still a really quiet location. House was clean and in good order. Someone clearly loves it!! Had towels,, well equipped kitchen, and soap. Be prepared to bring every thing else! House is within a short walking distance of a beautiful park right at the edge of the lake. Beautiful!BWe really enjoyed our stay, would recommend the house and would come back again. We were very pleased!

The house was super clean, perfect for our family. First time in 20 years we made it back up and could not have asked for a better cabin. Perfect location at east end of the strip, close enough to the action but still quiet at night. Backyard was great for the dog, however fence isn’t complete at the far left corner. Small glitch but great otherwise.

The best of both worlds

My family (two adults, one child, and one dog) stayed at this lovely house for a week and loved it. This house was the best of both worlds as it was located in a quieter part of town and close to the township park, but not too far of a walk to all of the shops on the strip. Our dog loved the fenced-in back yard and we loved sitting out front on the porch feeling the breeze from the lake. The owner was very responsive when the handle on the toilet broke and got it fixed right away. We would definitely stay here again.

We really had a great time,made lasting memories and enjoyed ourselves. The only disappointing thing was the fence, we were traveling with our 2 dogs and the property was listed as having a fenced in backyard. It was fenced in but failed to explain that the fence was half broken and laying in the yard. It was frustrating not being able to relax outside or enjoy the fire because we were worried about loosing the dogs. There was also no access to the water,but other than that we loved it and would do it again for sure.

The property looked very fresh as if recently redecorated. Everything was very clean and well kept iinside and out. The linen and towels from the service were of good quality. The location is perfect it off the main road through town but an easy 5-6 blocks to the downtown area. We loved walking to the township park and down to the beach every morning and most evenings. The fenced backyard was great for the dogs. The covered patio placed out in the yard away from the house (arbor or ramada) was perfect for a drink and a book on a hot afternoon. Lindsay, our one person staff was very helpful before and during our stay (we locked ourselves out of the house on the first day). We would definitely stay there again.

This past weekend we stayed at this property to celebrate my best friend's bachelorette party! We could not have been more pleased and impressed with the house and all of the amenities included! We were able to easily and quickly walk to any attraction on the strip as well as enjoy time just hanging out around the house! The homeowner was very accommodating. We loved how comfy the couches and beds were! The beach theme Decor was also a nice touch! The only issue we had was that our trip was too short! We will definitely be coming back for a girls weekend every year here on out and wouldn't stay at any other place!

I rented this house for my sister's bachelorette party and it couldn't have been more perfect! The house is even better in person than the pics show! It is so cute and very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our large group of 9. The fully stocked kitchen, several beds/bedrooms, and backyard were great amenities. The location of this house was better than I even expected. It is literally right down the street from all the shops and restaurants on the GOTL strip. We walked to everything on the strip. It is also only a short drive to all the great wineries in the Geneva and Harpersfield area. The owner, Lindsay, was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. She is very quick to respond to any inquiries that you may have. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a cute, clean, and very reasonable place to stay in GOTL!

I happily found this house for rent the first year it was available and I'm never staying anywhere else! The rest of our family that vacations with us stays elsewhere sadly without air conditioning and have always been envious...sorry. My grandkids, dog and I love the huge fenced yard that keeps them safe. Close to the township park and very quiet. I appreciate the new couches this year. It's nice to see other areas maintained as well since it's such a lovely older house. The only recommendation I have is to have a simple slide lock on the bathroom door for privacy. Otherwise, we all enjoy it there so much. See you next summer!
