A BBQ is on the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Shoot a game of pool or watch movies, sports or TV on the flat screen. There is an additional flat screen TV downstairs for movies or gaming. Use the telescope to explore Hearst Castle, the beach and ocean. You may even spot some migrating whales! Shamel Park (with swimming pool and childrens play area) and the ocean are a short walk down the street. Bring your laptop and use the free WiFi. Plenty of space to hang together or to be on your own. One thing this home would benefit from is an on demand hot water heater in the upstairs bathroom. Feels like to too forever (probably hundreds of gallons) just to get the water lukewarm for a shower. We all ended up showering in the downstairs bathroom. Aside from that my grand son left his favorite stuffed kitty and they mailed it to us immediately. Bravo!

It has a great view of the ocean, very close to the park for the kiddos, but far enough away where you have quietness. The pool table is great for the kiddos and we love that the upstairs is open so everyone can enjoy. We did have an ant problem both times we have stayed there but other then that little problem everything was great. Checking in and out was so easy less then a couple mins. There are 2 rooms down stairs which allows the people that want to go to bed earlier an opportunity to get away from all the noise. This location is very close to Moonstone Dr where you can go to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, or misc. shopping.

Place was pretty dusty and dirty inside. Cleaners could have done a better job or property mgrs should inspect it to ensure proper cleaning.

We really enjoyed staying at this home. While it does not have the most up-to-date amenities (the carpet is old but clean), the 2nd story space is incredible and comfortable. You can really relax with the terrific view and quiet neighborhood. Close to all beaches anb 5 minute drive to center of Cambria. And I personely loved having a full-size pool table! I highly recommend it.

First of all, the location is amazing. One minute walk to Shamel Park. 5 minute walk to Main Street Grill. Just a little farther for Cambria Roasting House. This house doesn't have many frills or luxury items, but for the price it was fine. The only things that could be improved are the Dish satellite is not HD (we didn't watch TV though because we were out so much) and the appliances could use an upgrade (dishwasher, fridge, and stove). Washer and dryer were new. Place was very clean, and the upstairs area is very roomy even with the pool table. The view was amazing too.

The house was perfect for our family if six - including a toddler. Great upstairs space. The fireplace wasn’t working. The handyman came twice and showed us what to do. It could really use more towels and maybe some extra dishes. Some plastic stuff for kids would be great. Very close to the park

Great location close to town, park, Moonstone Beach, Tara's Clydesdale Ranch & hiking. We went very early one morning to see the Elephant Seals (due to parking) & witnessed a pup's birth! We got great BBQ from Linn's at Friday's Farmers Market in town. We are already talking about going again next year for another repeat family vacation.

Pros: Great location. Close to town and you can walk to the beach. Seemed clean. Cons: In need of an update. Old everything. Sticky cabinets (old varnish?). Smelled funky upstairs. Beds downstairs were like sleeping on a brick. Water pressure downstairs was nonexistent.

The house has a lot of potential and is in need of updates. We were disappointed that the Master Bedroom had no seating, no curtains and no dress or to put away our clothes. The dresser was old and had two missing drawers. The decor was shabby. The other rooms were much better. There were no tissue boxes in the rooms. The cabinets in the kitchen and the stove was dirty and the cabinets were greasy to the touch. We have rented homes from Scenic Coast Properties for 25 years and are always pleased with the homes. This house needs TLC.
