This large home is all about the views and the ability to spread out with nice space and high ceilings. Super clean with comfortable beds. If you are a light sleeper, the nightly hot tub recharge at 11:10pm will wake you, along with the water pipes noise from the drip system that comes from the laundry room /shared wall with primary bedroom. LR area has super comfortable and newer couches. The other furnishings and outdoor furniture are older and could use some attention and they could ditch all the personalized decor that takes up table space. You can hear the waves at night, 2 blocks to the ocean. Super location for hikes at Fiscalini.

This spacious house has everything you need. We enjoyed a memorable time together in the open living/dining/kitchen floor of the house and yet each had their own space on the other floors. We had to drive down the hill to the beach trail only because we weren’t sure if we could make it back up the hill after doing the trail. It’s easy enough for younger stronger hikers probably.

We enjoyed our stay here. Check out was a little early at 10:00 and we couldn't control the thermostat inside the house, but otherwise a nice vacation house. Lots of animals including wild turkey and deer right on the property! Clean hot tub and fire pit was fun.

We normally stay in Cambria on the other side of the preserve. This is an older, more rugged area. Very hilly with a wide array of quality of homes. This home has wonderful views. The common area is the strength of this rental. Pictures and descriptions on the website were appropriate. Could use new carpet. Also, some mold in the lower levels caused some of our allergies to rebel. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and found the rental quite livable.

The property management company was extremely accommodating. The spa was well-maintained.
I would recommend a bin for recycling materials in the kitchen.
The refrigerator has an inside leak from the top onto the first glass shelf which creates a frozen puddle.
There is also a leak from the washing machine and there is some rust there as well on the ground.

This house was truly lovely. There were ocean views from basically every room. There was a jacuzzi and fully stocked kitchen. Taking it a step further, it was an incredibly comfortable home. Beautiful reading chairs and foot stools and tables everywhere. Very comfortable couches. Just a great stay.

This property was exactly as advertised. Quiet little neighborhood with gorgeous ocean views, especially at sunset! Lots of room, different areas to hang out and relax, huge deck with a hot tub, fully stocked kitchen. Just a short drive to see the elephant seals, Moonstone beach, and the cute downtown Cambria area. This was the perfect weekend getaway for our small group of friends, we would definitely stay here again.

Tile in master shower is very slippery, so use caution. There were no operating instructions for the fireplace, which was very disappointing. Driveway and garage are not suitable for larger SUVs or low ground clearance vehicles and street parking is not permitted. The dining room table could use a good scrub around the edges where people rest their arms.

Reviewer Comments: FYI, there is a water shortage and water barely comes out in the showers and you have to hold the shower head the whole time in both bathrooms. It was very hot for some reason upstairs, and we highly recommend ceiling fans to help with airflow. Window and door vertical blinds dated in the 1980"s are extremely outdated and it feels like they have never been cleaned! Carpet you could be updated as well.

There was a really nice view and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We didn't have problems with the pitch of the driveway like others did so I guess it depends on the car.

The location couldn't be more perfect: spectacular ocean views and with the Fiscalini trails a few steps away. Beds were comfortable. The plumbing, however, is in poor shape. The water pressure is so low in the master shower that you can't even wash sand off. The upstairs shower was broken. There was water dripping in the back of the refrigerator and it got all over the food. The house also wasn't as well-equipped as other places we've stayed. There were only some greasy plastic placemats for the table -- no tablecloths, nothing that could be washed. We noticed that the table had a lot of marks all over it and this is probably because there was nothing in the house to protect it. Otherwise, we loved the house but would hope that at least the plumbing and refrigerator issues get fixed before we would stay there again.

Six people stayed four days. 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and laundry room downstairs, great room and kitchen on main level. Loft with sleeper sofa and full bathroom on top floor.all three couples stayed in the downstairs bedrooms , but one couple had to go up two sets of stairs to have their own bathroom. It was fine for our group, bu be aware , there are stairs. Overall a lovely day xperience. Vertical blinds should probably be replaced.

The main room in this open concept home has high vaulted ceilings that make the room feel expansive and welcoming.
The bedrooms are nice and the beds quite comfortable. The living room couch is too low and too soft. We noticed that more on our second visit where we spent 4 nights. Parking is awkward S we drive an Explorer and did not fit in the garage. The parking area is steep.
There is a wonderful spa available outside of both bedrooms.
The view is Fabulous!

The nice you enter the the main living area this home is a stunner. The large windows and expansive ocean views are spectacular. The kitchen is a bit small for multiple people to maneuver in, but you can do it. We booked it again before we left ;) The bedrooms are great, the overall function is good and the deck is wonderful. We used the dining spaces for games, dining, and watching the sunset with appetizers and wonderful conversations. Parking is very awkward and only real complaint. If you have an SUV the garage is not an option and the steep incline in the driveway not a great choice either. There was a small ant issue, Loved it enough to Book again

We spent our entire stay sitting on the couch enjoying the view of the ocean. My ten year old did not complain once that he was bored either. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. We loved the living room because it was so big and open. We read some reviews about the driveway and we didn't understand why one would complain about a steep driveway. Yes, the driveway is short and steep. The downfall with the driveway is if you don't backup at an angle, your backend with scrape the street. You will see many deer roaming the neighborhood. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We will be booking this house again. I highly recommend this house for a family vacation.
