Old Town House with Garden, Fully Equipped & Peaceful

The location is excellent. It is easy to reach from the airport by taxi (around 20–25 minutes) and is conveniently located close to one of the Old Town gates, making arrivals and departures very straightforward. The major historical sites, harbour, restaurants and shopping streets are all within easy walking distance, yet the house itself is peaceful and quiet, particularly in the evenings. Arriving in the evening was so atmospheric! Rosa was a fantastic host. Despite our late arrival, she was there to meet us and guide us to the property, and she had thoughtfully provided some provisions to get us started, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. The house is full of character and felt like a real home rather than holiday accommodation. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, with everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen had everything required for self-catering, while the additional downstairs toilet and separate spacious shower area were particularly useful (and very much appreciated!). The very private garden was another highlight, and we wished we'd made more use of it, but we were out exploring for much of the day (so much to see). It provided a lovely, peaceful space to relax, safely sunbathe, enjoy the shade and escape the bustle of the city. There is a well-stocked supermarket within about a 10-minute walk, along with smaller shops nearby, making it very easy to pick up groceries and essentials. It's also close to a lovely coffee shop (literally one minute away, with great pastries) and the Minos Rooftop Cafe (worth a visit for the food and view). Overall, I would highly recommend this charming, comfortable and exceptionally well-located base (home) from which to explore Rhodes Old Town. Thank you, Rosa, for helping to make our stay so enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.
