The apartments are great, but we have experience major stress upon check-in, as no one was replying messages/phone calls and no code was sent to us until shortly before check-in

There is a phone mentioned as available for help 24/7 and the response was terrible! It takes hours to get an answer - regardless of whether via WhatsApp, calls or messages here. Moreover, we were somewhat irritated over 250€ deposit being returned only 2 weeks after check-out

The neiborhood is very good

The bathroom door was not closing

The location of the apartment is as central as it gets, very close to Praça do Comércio, on a pedestrian street with a couple of good restaurants. Despite the central location, it’s not noisy at all. The apartment itself is excellent: high ceilings, nice furniture, recently renovated, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large bathroom.

On the downside, the sofa bed, although double, is a bit narrow for two people, and the mattress is very thin and tends to sink in the middle, making it quite uncomfortable. The floor was also sticky, as if a sugary drink had been spilled, not just in one area, but throughout the apartment. Perhaps there was an issue with the cleaning service that day. The rest of the apartment was clean, but the stickiness of the floor persisted throughout our four-day stay.

Amazing location! Everything was walking distance. It was pretty big and clean.

I booked 2 bedroom apartment and they were supposed to have 2 beds each. Well, one of them only had one bed and when I reached out to host they said it's a pull out from under or something. We pulled it out and it was filthy but also, I didn't book for kids, we had 3 adults and 1 child. The room was SO tiny that there was no way 2 beds could be in there. In the main room instead of a full or queen bed it was 2 single beds put together but they wouldn't stay together. We had to keep our 6 year old in bed with us, since the other room only had 1 bed technically and the two beds kept opening up and she would fall in between. Communication with the host was terrible! They have some whatsapp AI automated thing that is supposed to help you and I'm still waiting for an answer (20 days later) about the beds and the parking. The other thing the conditioner was not working, the heat wouldn't turn on. I sent messages and booking messages etc. Finally I called a number and she told me to text her a picture and she sent me a generic how to use from google. I tried and didn't work. I texted her back saying "it's not working and I need someone to please come tomorrow as I understand it is late now. Never heard throughout our trip. It was pretty warm during our stay so we didn't care. Also, one of them just started working a couple of days later, randomly. The other thing, we had a 5 night reservation for 3 adults and 1 child. They left 3 towels for a whole week and that many people. I was going to ask someone, but then again, I hadn't even gotten an answer on the other things. So, to sum it up. it was a good apartment, good luck getting anything from the host if you need something. Out of our 20 days trip in Portugal, this was the one place that we really couldn't get anything from the host.
