Hostel Palacio

The hostel was located in a nice and central location with a Carrefour express nearby. Staff was incredibly patient in explaining various policies and quite friendly. They provided breakfast, all plates and cutlery you could need, and WiFi and shower water were great. The price honestly can’t be beat for what you’re getting in my opinion.

The door was a bit hard to figure out at first, but honestly, that’s on me trying to practice my Spanish and likely not understanding what was said the first time.

Very convenient location, close to multiple Metro stops and a short walk to many inexpensive bars and restaurants.

Check-in was a bit confusing as I booked at the last minute, and there was no clear instructions about breakfast or check-out. It is not a problem if your Spanish is good and you have a traveller's instinct.

The location was great. It was a 20-minute walk into the city centre and all flat. It was also incredibly close to the metro station and bus stops. The room was super comfortable, and the air-conditioning was set at the perfect temperature. The bathrooms were close and it was also close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores and laundromats. It was great value for the price and location.

Google maps sends you to the middle of the road, so maybe just send a few instructions prior to check in. We rang and once the lady told us it was next to a supermarket and to look for a big wooden door with 63 we found it easily.

Location is good.

The staff is not reaponsive, they don't speak English so it is difficult to explain them anything. We didn't get the room as described and even though I mentioned them right away, they didn't resolve the problem. The breakfast is disaster, 30 mins after start there were no things left and again the lady there was kind but didn't speak English so we couldn't ask her anything.
