About this cottage rental
This Cottage is a great spot for a couples or family getaway. It's the closest rental property at Hot Water Beach to the Hot Pools and beach, with outstanding views from the deck where you can see the whole length of Hot Water Beach.
It has a large fenced lawn which would be perfect for some summer cricket.
Hot Water Beach has been rated one of the top ten beaches in the world, and it is easy to understand why.
Soft, white sand; cafes; art gallery and, of course, the famous hot pools you dig for yourself.
For a couple of hours either side of low tide simply dig your toes in the sand until you find a hot spot where the naturally heated mineral water is flowing. Dig yourself a pool and relax in the beautiful surrounds while the cool seawater tops up your pool and prevents it from getting too hot.
Any time of the year is great to visit Hot Water Beach. In the summer the spectacular Pohutukawa blossom is in full bloom. In winter the smells and sounds of the native bush and wildlife add to your experience.
When the tide is low the pools are accessible. Kayaking, guided bush walks, glow worm trail (at night), horse trekking and numerous other activities are also available in the area.

We had such a nice time staying here. It was directly across the street from hot water beach and great restaurant with beach view. Host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful beach, cozy cottage, close to everything.

It was a great location across the car park to the beach. We only slept there so perfectly adequate for that. Things to improve, would be a bigger shower box, (very small), some bug screens and security latches on the windows so you could leave the windows open for ventilation in the hot summer days and evenings.

The location is the only thing we found great about this property. Unfortunately the house is not maintained well, only half the lights worked, shower and toilet are small for an average person. The manager was approachable via messaging and responded quickly which was good. The neighbours made it an unpleasant stay for us, as every time we wanted to sit and relax on the deck, the dogs would start barking and not stop.
