About this house rental
Less than a minute's walk to the beach and Whitianga town centre, Publican's is the perfect place to unwind in coastal paradise! With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, our holiday home comfortably sleeps up to 10 people. Great for families and larger groups.
Self-serviced accommodation with fenced lawn, BBQ, hot outdoor shower (great for sandy kids and divers!), kayaks and super close to the Whitianga Wharf + Ferry. Free Wifi, gas hot water, heat pump, open fire, linen and towels provided. The outdoor patio and lawn is fantastic for those long summer nights, backyard cricket and alfresco dining! For the boaties - we have plenty of space to park boats, fish cleaning bench and a bait freezer can be provided.
Prime location right next to Four Square, Buffalo Beach Takeaways, Hula Cafe and a short walk to the Wharf, Ferry, shops, cafes, bars & The Lost Spring Thermal Pools. You have everything you need within a 5-10 minute walk! Enjoy the wonders of the Coromandel - Publican’s is perfect for your next Whitianga holiday! Linen and Cleaning services are included - kept clean and tidy by professional cleaners.

Contractors and longer term stays , we are GST registered and can offer full service accommodation so all the staff need to do is get to work.

Beautiful, large, clean, comfortable, cozy, steps to beach, cafes, restaurants, shops, also starting locations for many excursions. Host very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Would absolutely stay there again.

The house itself was comfortable, but it was quite warm at night. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the owner was turning off the air conditioning at the power when we weren’t at the property, which felt intrusive and unnecessary.
More concerningly, the owner entered the house without prior notice, seemingly assuming no one was home. However, one of our group had not gone on the fishing charter and was inside when the owner unlocked and entered the property. This was a significant breach of privacy and left us feeling uncomfortable.
Overall, while the accommodation itself was fine, these issues made our stay less enjoyable.
