About this house rental
Less than a minute's walk to the beach, relax at Sybil's Place, a classic kiwi beach bach. Whitianga town centre, Wharf, Ferry, Boat Ramp and The Lost Spring thermal pools are all just a 5 minute walk away - forget the car and have more time to enjoy paradise!
The entire house sleeps up to 10 people - perfect for families and large groups. Upstairs is a spacious two bedroom home (sleeps six) and below is a separate two bedroom self-contained flat (sleeps 4). Set on sheltered spacious fully-fenced grounds, plenty of space for off-street parking, boat parking, outdoor dining and outdoor activities.
Use the house, or the flat or both, to suit your needs. Call to discuss. Regardless of which option you choose, you will have sole occupancy of the entire property. Linen and Cleaning services are included.
Free Wifi, gas hot water, kayaks, BBQ, heat pump, outdoor furniture. Boat friendly neighbourhood. Bait freezer and fish cleaning bench. Outdoor shower (hot water) for divers and sandy kids.
The house and flat have been recently renovated, modernised and insulated, but in keeping with the original retro Sybil's bachy look and feel.
For Xmas - New Year Peak period, please ask a question online, we are looking for responsible family groups.
Contractors and longer term stays , we are GST registered and can offer full service accommodation so all the staff need to do is get to work.
For larger groups, wedding parties, and charter groups we also have The Publican's (sleeps 11) which is next door - rent both! Call Rob to discuss.

Enjoy Buffalo Beach, Ferry Landing, Front Beach and all Whitianga has to offer without getting in your car. This is a little paradise to relax and enjoy.
Take a day trip to the highlights of Cathedral Cove, Hahei and Hot Water Beach to the south. For relaxation, visit the other stunning east coast beaches to the north, Opito Bay, Otama Bay, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach, Matarangi, Whangapoua and New Chum Beach. Or adventure west to Coromandel Town and on to the northern tip of the peninsula with its fabulously isolated Fantail Bay, Port Jackson, Fletchers Bay, Stoney Bay, Sandy Bay, Port Charles, Waikawau Bay, Little Bay and Tuateawa.

This house was perfect for our group, which included two families with children. We rented both levels so everyone had plenty of space and privacy, the house was cozy with thoughtful amenities, plenty of towels, and a great distance from the town center and regional attractions.

We would have only booked upstairs had we understood the configuration which was a bit confusing. Instead we paid for upstairs and downstairs and only used upstairs. apart form that it was a Tidy comfortable and warm house in a super central location.

Had a great stay. Had all the kitchen hardware (and more) that we needed. House was very clean and it was a great place to hang out when the weather outside wasn’t the greatest.
