The owners and the staff
The restaurant was being refurbished. Was looking forward to dining there because the chef an food had an excellent reputation. Just bad timing on my part unfortunately

Perfectly located for Hadrian’s Wall! Super easy to get to and all the staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming! The food was also fantastic!

Quirky with a very lively pub next door. Quiet in spite of that. Landlady was very helpful and she found us towels and drinks etc for the room. No one from the hotel around and the place seemed empty apart from us. They didn’t seem to be expecting us or really very bothered.
The surroundings were dirty and very untidy. Rubbish around and pub debris all over.
