Everything was perfect!! Excellent location, clean room, comfortable, with all the necessary kitchen devices, table and everything that a family needs, (we had small children’s with us). A great 3 days at the apartment.

The location was so good. Really less than a block walk Monastaraki Square. So close to everything you want. The apartment itself is a big space & was well stocked with the essentials. Comfortable & clean. We would use this listing again if we were to return to Athens.

Personal preference but we found the bed to be on the hard side. Not much give in the mattress. And the square is a gathering point for people. It got a bit loud due to a soccer game being played in Athens but we actually had fun listening/mingling with the fans.

Simply perfect in every respect. The owner has equipped the apartment tasteful, well thought out and practical, reaching from a wonderful bathroom to comfortable beds, blackout curtains for sleeping well at night, a noiseless, well functioning air condition without heavy airflow, and all other practical things one can think of. In Monastiraki one either must sleep with earplugs, if one wants an open window at night, or keep windows shut and use air condition. When the windows are closed in this apartment, the noise from the street is fully and absolutely kept out, and the air condition functions noiseless and without heavy airflow, so that one does not catch a cold from it. — Further, the Metro station Monastiraki is just a few steps away, and to the other direction one reaches the ancient Agora and the Acropolis in another few steps. — The owner answers questions immediately and is very helpful.

We would stay there again, it was a nice place and we understand things happen that are out of control sometimes.

The apartment was close to the Monastiraki square and metro. We come every year and enjoy our vacation start in this area.

The hot water tank stopped working for a day, not sure why but it was hot and a shower would have been nice. Some of the utensils still had old food scrap on them. And toilet paper ran out fast

Amazing apartment for a quick trip to Athens!!

Our stay at the apartment was excellent! Communication with the host was smooth and very friendly, and the service was outstanding. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the metro, which made it really easy to explore Athens. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Definitely recommended!

Great location from which to explore Athens

Fantastic location, right in the heart of it all. Check in instructions were perfect and the host George was very responsive. They even dropped off some bottled water, which was a nice touch. Photos are accurate.

The sheets and towels are a bit old and there were some old stains on the mattress.

Beautiful apartment with all you need

Centrally located convenient to the metro and lots of cafes and restaurants. We arrived earlier than expected into Athens and contacted the host who allowed us to store luggage and once apartment was cleaned from previous stay was able to have an early check in. Whole process was easy.

Despite the drab, dark building, the unit itself was excellent and the proximity to restaurants and entertainment cannot

The unit itself was quite large and well appointed. It was clean, well lit and very comfortable. The AC worked extremely well which was so appreciated after a long, hot day exploring Athens. Monastiraki Square was a block away and I was able to walk to all the areas I wanted to explore within 20 minutes (Acropolis, Plaka, Psyri, etc). The proximity to restaurants and entertainment was exceptional!

The building where the unit is located looked a bit intimidating to me as a solo woman traveler. I arrived late in the evening and the entrance was not well lit so I initially missed it. There was graffiti on many of the nearby buildings and about 3 ft from the entrance of the building was a homeless man asleep on the sidewalk. I punched in the security code and quickly made my way into a dark foyer. The elevator was located adjacent to a set of stairs that seemed to lead into darkness. As I exited the elevator, the hallway to the apartment was also dimly lit and very hot. However, a window at the end of the hallway was open and I could hear the laughter and banter of the people out on the streets enjoying their evening. During my stay, I came to find that the neighborhood was very safe and there were always people around enjoying themselves.

The location was fantastic. Pretty much right on Monastiraki square. Walking distance to all attractions. Beds were comfortable and apartment was exactly as pictures/ description.

Most amazing apartment in Athens at the price!

Everything was clean and well organized, the location is exception and the communication from the owner was stellar. They were happy to give recommendations for travel, sightseeing and even restaurants. The room is self service so you can check in and check out as you need. The jacuzzi is fantastic. But. But most importantly, the location is great, literally 1 minute walk from the metro. Pharmacy, restaurants, supermarket all at less that 1 minute walk. Would stay again!

Great location

Great spacious converted office into an airbnb for the weary traveler. Conveniently located in the heart of Monastiraki next to the Acropolis. The neighborhood is in the food stalls, and you will hear the music from loudspeakers all day blasting. We were very tired from the long flight & very long wait at the Metro. It was 35 minutes, 15 stops from airport to here & we did eventually sleep with the A/C on in April 2025. Beds were comfy, the kitchenette was very welcoming, and the showers were an oasis.

The location was both good, it was close to Metro & bad it was noisy during the day.

The location is perfect, literally a few steps from Monastiraki square. Apartment was clean, spacious enough for a family. George was very responsive and helpful; we even completed our check-in before the proposed time.

The only downside is outside noise being in the heart of the city. Having salt&pepper and a microwave would help more.

Perfect place that is just two-minute walk from the most animated square in Athens.

Excellent location that is just one-minute walking from the Monastiraki plaza - the most animated square in Athens with many good restaurants, a crazily-diverse flea market, and a ten-minute-only walk to Acropolis. Even better, it takes just ten minutes walking from this place to the Varvakios Central Market that provides another look at the daily life of Athens.

Due to its excellent location, the place could be noisy at night. The setting of the apartment is also suitable mostly for two people, not four (there are no separated rooms, just a living/sleeping room and a toilet).
