About this cottage rental
Charming 2-bedroom country cottage with gorgeous mountain views from every room, located in the Western Catskills. Open floor plan downstairs containing living area with cable TV including HBO and streaming services such as Netflix, etc., dining area, kitchen, and a half bath. Both bedrooms located upstairs along with full bath and separate laundry closet. The 300 sq ft deck faces dramatic mountain views. Cottage is newer construction -- everything is immaculately clean and in perfect working condition -- with an aesthetic mix of rustic and contemporary touches throughout, such as wide plank pine floors, reclaimed barn board walls, state-of-the-art appliances and custom built cabinetry with soapstone countertops. Quiet central air-conditioning throughout the house as well as high speed internet, more than fast enough for Zoom/work needs.
The cottage is located on a quiet country road, 2 miles outside the quaint village of Hobart, 'The Used Bookstore Capital of Upstate NY,' where you will find several antiquarian and used bookstores, antique shops and much more. Plattekill Ski Resort is only a 20 minute drive, and the Stamford Golf Club is just 10 minutes away.

The perfect cottage for a recharge. The views from the windows are stunning and it is so peacefully quiet. We enjoyed exploring to area and people were so gracious. Recommend TP’s Cafe. Good home cooked food. The house was spacious and comfortable for our 10 day visit. Just wish we could have taken the view home.
