About this house rental
This property is owner-managed: direct contact with the property owner - please email owner with any questions about the property, amenities, minimum stays, etc. We are willing to work with renters in most situations.
Our minimum rental periods are as follows:
May and October: 2 night minimum
June and September: weekly rentals preferred, but some flexibility
July and August: full week rentals only; Sat-Sat
Whether you are looking for a relaxing view from either of the expansive decks while you read a good book or if you prefer a bit more action out on the water, this cozy cottage situated along the east-side Keuka lakefront just 5 miles south of Penn Yan will suit your vacation needs.
If you like to enjoy a little exercise during your stay, the cottage is located on a quiet road which is perfect for a scenic bike ride, walk or jog.
The main floor of the cottage consists of an open dining/living room area with television, gas fireplace, sofa bed, full size futon, bar area with a beautiful view of the lake and a dining table that seats up to 6. Also on the main floor is a small, but fully equipped kitchen, 1 small bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower. The lower level has a queen bed and nice sized attached bathroom with shower. Both levels have access to one of the outside decks.
The upper deck, off the main floor, has gorgeous views of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Plenty of lawn chairs, a picnic table, and a gas grill make this a great location to hang out at dinner time. This deck also gets great afternoon sun for those looking to bask in the rays.
The lower deck is covered, has sun shades, and also has plenty of seating with several lounge chairs. Great for when you need to get out of the sun or rain or just looking for a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee.
The 65' of lake frontage is perfect for swimming, fishing off the dock, or heading out on the water in your boat. Dock your boat just steps away from the house. The seawall steps lead directly into the shallow water making it perfect for the kids (and adults!) to go swimming right in front of the house. A fire pit is also located along the seawall to roast marshmallows and enjoy the nighttime lights around the lake. Also provided are a paddle boat, 3 kayaks, life vests, and water toys.
This property is also on city water and sewer. No need to deal with septic, well, or lake water issues.
Whether your vacation interests are activities on the lake or simply enjoying the lake-views and local charm, the amenities and location of this cottage will definitely accommodate your needs.

This was our second time staying here. Place is perfect for a family of 5. House has everything you need. Shallow water for younger kids to enjoy. Open deck to enjoy the sun. Covered deck to enjoy a thunderstorm. Angela makes renting a breeze!!

Lake house is a great place! We all had a wonderful time fishing from the dock and using the paddle boat and kayaks provided. Close to good restaurants and wineries too. Excellent stay!

The location is perfect, however, for the price, I do not think that I would return.
The cleaning people obviously did not do a thorough cleaning. Although the bathrooms were clean, the futon, windows, doors, tablecloth, and floors upstairs were not clean.
I looked for extra bedding for a friend who was spending the night.
I was first told by the owner that she thought there was 3 of us. She assumed a couple of us would be sharing a bed. She told me to go to the Dollar Store! She then told me after we left that there was extra bedding in the upstairs closet. I had looked there and only saw 2 pillows. We also had trouble with the grill’s temperature gauge. Had to remove the salmon and do it in the oven. The owner told me that when she tried to turn it on once we had left, it was fine. My husband grills at home at least 3-4 nights a week. He knows grills.
There is also no washer or dryer. I knew this going in, but it really isn’t ideal.
This property has great potential.

We had a nice time! Waterfront with safe space for little kids to play in the lake, right at your doorstep. It's fun that kayaks and paddleboat are on-site and ready to use.Beautiful views from the decks morning and night.
